This was our first time trying this place. Let me start by saying the food was very good! My husband and I both loved our dishes. However, when I was about 3/4 of the way done with my plate, I realized that one of my sour cream enchiladas had a hair in it. I know stuff like this happens, so I didn’t want to make a big deal. I scooted it to the side and kindly pointed it out to our waitress and asked if she could just bring me another enchilada to replace the one with the hair. She didn’t apologize, she just said “Um, ok, hold on.” She left and then returned and asked for my whole plate. I gave it to her (with 2 other good enchiladas a and rice and beans still left) and she later returned with the one single enchilada. Ok, not a big deal. That is what I asked for after all. We finished eating and then went to pay. The lady at the register was not unkind, but was not polite either. I did not expect a free meal, but an apology would have been nice. To top it off, she tried to charge us drinks that we did not have (we both drank water). When I told her those were not ours, she just kinda rolled her eyes and shrugged. I’m sure they thought I was trying to get over on them, but I really was not. Nobody enjoys hair in their food. Overall, the food was great, but because of the lack of kind service, I don’t think we will be returning.
After the owner’s reply, I am adjusting from 3 to 1 star. It really is sad that you think that I would plant my own hair or eyelash or whatever to try to get over on you. If that was the case, I would have insisted on getting a free meal or plate. I knew it was almost all eaten. Like I mentioned before, it was very good. Sorry, but I don’t have the habit of inspecting every inch of my food looking for hair everywhere I go. Again, I never even once hinted that I expected anything from you other than clean food. Customer service is essential in any business, and I really feel like it’s severely lacking at this establishment. I think no reply would have...
Read moreI've been coming here since they opened for business I return because the food is delicious thanks to the cooks💯 Today was not a busy day my husband and I ordered Two horchatas and a large bowl of menudo each with posole and a pata, and flour tortillas, the waitress brought us our drinks and menudo no posole and 3 tortillas 😒 we kindly asked for posole she only brought for one and we shared so I let my husband eat the three tortillas I didn't want to bother her anymore as she never came to check if we needed refills or anything at all. Than I went to order one to go with posole and patita and pay so for some reason Elizabeth said it wouldn't accept my card so I paid cash and she's being very rude and making stank faces the whole time I looked on my bank app I have over a thousand dollars available and it shows I was charged so I show her and shes being so rude making stank faces this is unacceptable and very poor customer service she clearly isn't a people person with really bad customer service skills and hates her job maybe she needs to keep her problems at home and not bring them to work any how I won't...
Read moreGreat experience for a first try! Walking in, you can smell delicious food, and it just made me hungrier! I got 2 of the Parillada plates: the Fajitas Flameadas(steak, chicken, shrimp, and chorizo) and the Parillada De Mariscos(grilled fish, shrimp, and scallops) Both were delicious and well cooked. The scallops and fish were super tender! As a bonus, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Since my husband and I are on a keto diet, we can't have most hispanic dishes. But they were able to replace the rice, beans, and tortillas for a side salad. I very much appreciated their willingness to do so during their...
