Beware of gift card scam from employees here. When we first pulled up to the window to pay for our order, we had a balance left on our gift card. The kid that was working the drive-thru took our gift card and immediately claimed we didn't have a balance on it, which we new we had 15 dollars left. He "tried" 2 more times and still claimed we didn't have a balance as the gift card came up "declined". He then felt the need to "apparently" take a picture on his cell phone (which we did not see him do to begin with as we were watching him), and he stated "See? there's no balance," all of which occurred within about a 20 seconds of handing him our card initially. STRANGE for him to take it upon himself to take a supposed picture so quickly in an attempt to try and fool us - just very suspicious. However, we knew there was money left on our gift card ($15.00). I immediately asked for the manager. He then stated "Oh! wait! the balance just showed up! How weird!" and finally applied it to our billed POS balance. We then paid the remaining amount, and was handed our food. We did check our order that was handed to us while at the window, and received not even half the food that we ordered. I honked the horn a few times as they had already closed the window to get someone's attention - and after a few people walked by the window looking at me, finally someone else came up to the window. I handed him the bag of food and my receipt and told him that we didn't get our entire order, and to follow what we paid for on our receipt. The individual then said "OKAY" in a sarcastic tone. We then waited nearly 10+ more minutes waiting for the rest of our order. I'm not even going to touch on the low quality of the food here either. But, regardless, I called the manager when we got home and explained what had happened, as well as watching the other employees carrying on while we were waiting and was pretty much told "Oh, okay.....I didn't know anything was going on, I was in the back office" I mean, really? It seemed as if trying to get an apology or something was like pulling teeth. We're not out for free stuff or anything, but there was really nothing offered to make amends for our terrible experience. We won't be coming here again, especially after the apparent scam of some sort going on with the gift card, and not giving us our entire order either. Disgraceful at...
Read moreDunkin’ Donuts is one of my favorite fast food restaurants to grab a quick breakfast from. I usually go to the one out on Manchester Rd in Barberton/Akron which is pretty good but the one in Wadsworth, Ohio is surprisingly superb. We were in Wadsworth yesterday 2/26/23 and decided to stop there for breakfast and I was highly impressed from the moment we walked through the doors, the restaurant was kept very clean and immediately I noticed that beautiful donut aroma filling the air (which prompted me to buy a half dozen donuts to take home.) I ordered the sausage, egg & cheese muffin and some hash browns along with an iced coffee which is my regular purchase from Dunkin, I couldn’t believe how much better it all tasted then the ones I get out on Manchester Rd., hands down way better all the way around, everything about this location was better then most of the Dunkin locations I’ve visited over the decades. Even though they were really busy the restaurant was impeccably clean, the staff impressed me as well, like I said they were really very busy and through it all the staff all appeared to maintain professionalism, they were polite and upbeat. We ate inside of the restaurant which is rare for us, and I’m making the above assessment by witnessing the girls deal with the many customers coming and going as we ate our food. Speaking of their food, the both of us agreed that it was much better, tastier and way more fresher then most of the other locations we’ve been to. If you happen to be out in Wadsworth in Medina County, stop by Dunkin for breakfast, I believe that you to will be as...
Read moreWe have frequented this Dunkin Donuts for years, but sadly no more. Walked in to order because drive-thru was around the building. We kept a safe social distance and we were very rudely and very loudly yelled at by a young man behind the counter to put on a mask. I asked calmly if they honor medical exemptions and he completely ignored me and turned and walked away from me. I asked again if they would honor a medical exemption and a woman turned around abruptly and yelled no, we won't serve you if you're not wearing a mask. I said even for a medical exemption and she yelled no, go through the drive-thru. So we left. I am beyond disappointed as this Wadsworth location has always been my favorite and I have gone there regularly for about 8 years, met friends there for coffee, and stocked up on pounds of coffee. I do understand that there are mandates in place, but no where should a loyal customer be yelled at and treated with such absolute rudeness. There seems to be a very young staff at the Wadsworth location and maybe they just don't know how to treat people, but shame on Dunkin Donuts for allowing this kind of treatment of their customers. Sadly, we won't be back. We'll go out of our way to patronize a...
