So so disappointed. I come here every year for my twin girl’s bday. It’s just a little something to make their day feel special after xmas. Every year we have experienced good food, friendly staff, and a parade of love from the employees as they sing happy bday to my girls. It just feels special. Tonight we came and had to wait an hour to sit, though we came very early before dinner and there were hardly any guests. We still waited as that’s what our kiddos really wanted. The waitress only appeared twice for us. Other staff brought food, but never once asked us if we needed anything. The second time I saw our waitress I told her about the birthdays as I do every year. The food was so bad. My lettuce was frozen, I couldn’t eat it. The hamburger I guess was a warmed up patty. Thin and chewy. And then we waited. And we waited. And we waited… and we WAITED. No one ever checked on us. No refills on our empty drinks. No endless fries. We just sat and sat and SAT. After a while my kids said they were sad they came. My heart broke. We decided just to use the kiosk on the table to pay on our own and they went to the car heartbroken. I was angry. I wasted HOURS at this place only to disappoint my kids. As I waited to speak to the manager inside and my family was already in the car to leave, the waitress came to me after she saw me waiting at the exit and asked, “do you want your ice cream to go?” She knew we didn’t come for- ‘to go ice cream’ she knew she screwed us over and my kid’s day- I shook my head because I was too upset to speak. She threw her arms in the air angry at me for refusing and rolled her eyes and stomped off without another word. I have never experienced this before. I was really surprised by her behavior at me when I was the one who should have been publicly upset, but I silently continued to wait for a manager that I could share my regrets to. Tonight was an unexpected night as we dealt with disappointment and somehow I was the one publicly shamed by our waitress in the middle of the restaurant with guests and staff watching. Read moreJUST WALKED OUT, went in on a Sunday at about 6. We were immediately greeted and seated by the hostess. The place was not very busy. It took several minutes for the waitress “Andrea” to come over and get our drink order.
I ordered a beer and a water, my wife a glass of wine and water, the kids juice. We got the waters in a fair amount of time and were still looking at the menu. When the waitress came back we began to order. We started with the kids and she promptly responded that they were changing the menu and did not have grilled cheese or pizza, even though it was on the menu. So we said ok we need another minute. Still no drinks by this point and asked about the kids juice.
We figured out what the kids wanted and she came back a few minutes later. We ordered for the kids and then my wife ordered. The waitress responded “we are not serving that”. My wife was rightfully agitated at that point and said “perhaps you should inform people of the menu change, before they spend all this time looking through it”
She ordered something else and I ordered. Still no drinks. At this point we just decided to leave. Up until now I was going to just chalk this experience up to a SORRY waitress. I was just going to walk out and let the waitress figure it out, but my wife went to tell her we were leaving.
The waitress was standing at the entrance of the kitchen talking with the manager. The manager never stopped her or asked her what the problem was when she canceled the order and said we were leaving. While we had a bad waitress the management is lacking as well.

Read moreI went to this Red Robin location on 7/8 and their service is horrible! I ordered a cheeseburger with cheese only for take-out. Later on when I got home and opened up the seperate wrapper the burger was in, I noticed it had everything on it, including 2 items I was allergic to! When I caled the rest and informed the manager on duty (Pauletta), she made it seem as though it was my problem! She asked if I paid by card or cash, and when I told her cash bc the bill wasn't that much, she said that was fine bc she could look it up by name. When she returned to the phone, she changed her story, and said she couldn't help me. She basically placed the blame on me bc I paid by cash! Not only did her bartender mess up my simple order by placing things I'm allergic to on the order, but she also didn't place my receipt in the bag like she claimed. I told Paulette that if I get sick or have a reaction, bc 1 of the fries I ate came in contact with the items on the burger during prep or boxing, it was going to be a problem. I told her I needed the corporate number since she was no help, and she put me on hold and hung up! When I called bk she told her employee to say she was in the bathroom (just that quick), and she would call later. I said I would hold. Pauletta picked up again, placed me on hold and hung up again! When I called bk and said I just want the corp number, she tried to pass off the gm number, saying he was the owner all of a sudden, when she had already told me earlier the he was the GM.
