I usually have a good experience at Chick-fil-A. With the inside being closed I submitted my order through the Chick-fil-A app for curbside pickup. The app said there were no numbered spaces available and to pull to a safe area and put my hazards on, which I did. After five minutes the app said someone was on their way out with my order. Another five minutes pass by and I see no one in sight. I drive around and I see more open spaces for pick up. I asked one of the workers if this was curbside pickup as well and she said yes. I sat in my car about another seven minutes and asked the same worker about my order. She said my fries were ready, but they were waiting for my shakes. At this point Iโve been here for atleast twenty minutes after ordering and I only ordered two small shakes and two small fries. I said ok fine. I sat in my car and waited for my food to be brought out. My fries were cold so I asked the worker to give me fresh fries. She said no problem. She kindly explained to me that usually when there are no spaces the customer is supposed to come to the restaurant door to get their food. I said โOh.ok. I had no idea. This was the first time this has happened when no spaces were available and the app told me to put hazards on and wait.โ Five minutes go by and the manager, an older white woman, about 5ft 2in, short blonde hair and glasses, comes out with a nasty attitude telling me theyโre not taking orders from some unknown app she claimed I used to order my food. I kindly explained to her that I ordered through the Chick-fil-A app and the app told me to pull over and put on my Hazards. She continued being rude and eventually just stopped talking and handed me my food. This is not customer service I expect to receive anywhere, especially not Chick-fil-A a company that prides customer service. Being a manage she should know how to better handle situations. Maybe she should take some advice from the worker who assisted me...

I received an email regarding using the app to order. I added funds to my account & noticed I had a free brownie. I ordered my food through the app to be picked up via the drive thru. I could not add the free brownie to the order. The young lady with the clipboard guessed it was a glitch & told me to tell the individual at the booth, so it could be redeemed. When I got to the booth, the young man asked me my name & told me to hold. He walked away to hand out receipts. All the cars ahead had received their orders and were gone & I was waiting for the young man. I tried him about the free brownie. He cut me off & told me that the individuals at the food window was waiting for me & tell them. I told them about redeeming the brownie, the lady said it was in the bag. The receipt I received by mail reflected the purchase without the charge for the brownie. When I looked at the receipt on the bag, I was charged for the brownie. The funds on my Chick-fil-a app also reflected the charge for the brownie. I talked to the manager at Chick-fil-A via phone. She stated that there was no way to refund my account. I had to drive back to be reimbursed. I went back since I was less than 5 minutes away. I received my $$ back for the brownie & an apology. The brownie was drier than the desert. I'm done with Chick-fil-a. I NEVER want to use...

For many, many years I would laugh and mock those that waited in your never-ending long lines in the heat of Summer and the frigid cold of Winter. "HAHA", I would point and say. Suckers! Everyone and I do mean everyone would tell me that Chic-fil-A is delicious...that the chicken is amazing. Yea, Yea, it's just chicken I would counter.
I now write this review in shame, shame, shame (Cersei Lannister, lol), head held low while I devour this Spicy Chicken Salad. That's right, I said it. I'm finally eating Chic-fil-A. I have relented and become one of hundreds waiting in line. I too am you. Lol. Seriously, the food is good. I don't order anything but their Spicy Chicken Salad, but have tried the chicken nuggets and waffle fries. I once ate the Spicy Chicken Salad three days in a row for dinner. I need to write my notes of apology.
AND of course you know the customer service is on another level and the lines truly move at lightening speed. This is the kind of wait that I don't mind because I know my order will be fresh, 9/10 correct and provided with a smile and "Thank you."
