Pho D'Lite — Restaurant in Waldorf

I placed a call in order on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 7:08pm. When I got to the restaurant to pick up my order, the waitress (a tall young lady) was very courteous.

The only issue at that time is, while I waited on my second order of chicken wings the two ladies were giggling and bumping into one another playing around while several orders were across the counter waiting to be organized and packed. They were dropping items into bags not necessarily in any particular order. They just dropped items into bags with a lack of care. As they were more concerned with chatting and playing.

When I arrived home, I opened my pho box which barely had enough ingredients for a bowl of pho. ( My box is normally full of ingredients for two.) The order was also missing the lime. I then checked the bag and not only were my ingredients not the normal portion, and missing the lime, there was also no Siracha, or Hoisin sauces that normally come with the Pho.

At that point I decided to call the restaurant. I explained to the lady on the phone that I was missing the sauce. I did not mention the portion size nor the missing lime (I was willing to accept the missing items). After I explained my missing sauce to the lady on the phone she trivialized my complaint and stated “So you only missing sauce?” She then proceeded to tell me that she didn’t know what to tell me to do because telling me to come back just for some sauce would be doing to much.

I then asked her if the manager was in and she said no. Then she asked me why I needed to speak with a manager. I explained to her that I am a customer and that I was highly disappointed in the fact that she would say doing to much to a customer, and that her response to my complaint was rude and that is why I needed to speak with a manager. She said okay that’s fine. You can make a complaint but the manager is not in right now. I then asked her for her name, she then became even more rude and said she did not see why I needed her name. I then had to explain that I was unhappy with her service and I had to ask her repeatedly for her name. To which after being asked several times, she finally said that her name was Adrianna. I said thank you and let her know that I would be calling back to speak with the manager. Then ended the call.

This afternoon, Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 1:00pm I called the restaurant to speak the manager. I did not get an answer. I then called back from a blocked number and a young lady answered. I asked to speak with the manager and she stated that she was the manager on duty at that time. I asked for her name and she said her name was Adrianna I said thank you and proceeded to hang up because I didn’t want to have another...

Normally this place is amazing, when dining in. This was my first time ordering to-go. My order was pretty simple, egg rolls, shakin’ chicken, and chicken pho. Went to pick up my food, went home to no noodles for my pho. I called and talked to someone, they informed me they could redo my order and it would be done in 20 minutes. No problem. I head there about 10 minutes after the phone call since I live about 15 minutes away. I get there, my order was not ready, it had not even been started. The lady who I spoke to on the phone never acknowledged me and never informed the Kitchen of my refire. She had someone who did not talk to me or know what I was saying take care of me and provide him no information as to what my issue was. I waited and got the pho. But did not get the rest of my order. I informed the gentleman that I was still waiting on egg rolls and shakin; chicken, since I was promised a refire. I also had to pay an additional $3, when I asked why the guy said to give me extra stuff. I didn’t want extra stuff I wanted my order. I ended up paying the additional fee because I just wanted my food. I waited 15 minutes for the rest of my order, since the pho was made when I first got here. I did not end up getting my egg rolls when my chicken was ready. I was so frustrated after having to tell them my order multiple times, watching them write it down, and no one knowing what to do. I just left; it wasn’t worth about 20 of my life. I ended up heading home with some of my order. I get home to find out the Pho I got, was not the chicken. It was a special requested order for another customer. I paid the extra $3 due to the requests from the customer for that order. They did not give me a receipt upon payment, they gave to me with the order. The ordered ended up not being chicken, but brisket. The person who the meal was for only eats chicken. I am requesting my money back because I never did truly receive my order. I also called the restaurant again after the second mess up on1/27/2022, and the employee who helped me told me a manager would call. I never received a call. I also reached out via email, and never got a response. I will not be dining here unless it is in person, way too much of a headache and honestly it...

Upon arrival, my husband and I sat ourselves without a greeting for approximately 5 minutes. There were only 3 tables occupied including ourselves with one of the tables already finished with their dinner. There were two young female servers , one taking phone orders. We were provided the menus and told that "she" will be with us shortly, assuming it's the girl on the phone that would be serving us. Vanessa approached our table after a little under 10 mins. Vanessa was kind and knowledgeable of the menu. However, after taking our orders the service was non existent.

I ordered the egg rolls and my husband ordered the garlic wings. When our order was ready Vanessa sat at the register eating and the other server hovered over her laughing while they scrolled on their phones. When our food arrived at the table, the food was still fresh however the egg rolls were displeasing to the eyes. I was provided two tiny egg rolls that was the size of miniature spring rolls for 7.75 absolutely not ! Vanessa kindly took them back. The wings were small and fried hard but the flavor was there.

The Pho arrived at the same time as the appetizers. I ordered the chicken pho and my husband ordered the Pho creation. My chicken pho lacked flavor and meat. My husband enjoyed the quality of his Pho stating that it was meaty. We are huge thai tea fans however we weren't satisfied with the tea we recieved. It was watered down. Vanessa never returned back to the table after we recieved our food therefore we weren't able to order water nor recieve anymore napkins after my husband's soup spilled onto his pants. Due to lack of service, my husband stood up to get the to go bowls on his own while the servers played on their phones laughing. As my husband approached closer to the register , Vanessa asked him if he was ready to pay. He was provided the bowl and he paid. No assistance was offered to help pack the soup or anything. We werent provided an idomized reciept. After further addition we noticed that the egg rolls were still on the check. Vanessa issued a refund for the egg rolls once we noticed the error.

We will not be returning , I will continue to drive to fairfax...
