I really didn't want to leave 3 stars and while some of these reviews are clearly out of Hanger they do share some common ground and CFA Alpines inconsistencies are indeed detrimental.
I have gone 3 times since opening and each time was a very different experience.
The first time I got Dinner for me and my girl and 1 of our sandwiches breasts was large while the other was 1/3 the size. The smallest chicken sandwich I have gotten from any CFA ever and I'm 28 from Atlanta so I've had a lot of CFA lol. I also asked for a Honey packet to make a hot honey sandwich and i got Honey Roasted BBQ. The Mac was soup and that was super disappointing considering the small sandwich at least tasted great, something you cant say about the mac. 2/5
Then I got breakfast and the biscuits where fuego, moist and plump, nailed it. But the burrito was the thinnest burrito CFA has ever served me. Which was my girls whole breakfast so she was a bit bummed out, and that is her go to breakfast item for years now. 4/5
Then we went for another Dinner run and they Killed it this time! Sandwich was perfect, Nuggets were great and came with a bonus Nugget as well. Mac this time was PERFECT. But once again I asked for a Honey packet and this time I got a Honey Mustard. 4/5
Idk if they don't have Honey Packets and don't want to communicate that with me or if the staff is just getting confused when they see Honey packets on mobile orders lol
Staff is solid CFA staff. A little slower than busier CFAs I've been to but no demerits for that. While I never worked in fast food I was a chef for a while and understand the difficulty in opening restraunts and having everything ready to go.
For the time being I'm going to drive the extra 10 minutes to Walker or Beltline unfortunately because CFA is a bit pricey and it hurts a little more when it doesn't deliver 😔 I will be coming back at some point I'm sure and will update my review when...

First, there is none of the usual CFA service. The dining room has been dirty and garbage on tables the last 3 times we have eaten in. There's one person in the lobby to handle all customer orders, plus delivery app orders (which for some reason, they always seemed to give priority to). At breakfast the woman taking orders was downright cranky and snipped at us multiple times for asking questions.
Second, the owners just do not appear to value service the way every other CFA I've been to has. I do not need my but kissed, but there's no willingness to pitch in. Last time I was there (and it will be the last time) I was greeted by the owner's wife. I only say that because she wasn't the picture on the wall but her nametag said owner and she was in what looked like dress clothes. Rather than take our order, she told us to wait and someone would be out to take our order. We waited like 2 minute before someone finally showed up.
I asked about a promotional email I got from my Walker Chick Fil A mentioning free chocolate milkshakes with an order. The cashier was clueless, and I eventually talked to the owner again, who insisted that this was NOT the Walker Chick Fil A and that we were in fact in Grand Rapids and not Walker.
Let me tell you, you don't need to grow up in Walker like I did to know that your location is in Walker. The most she would do was offer to give me directions to the correct "Walker" Chick Fil A, which is also in a part of Walker more commonly known as Standale.
Her attitude was bad, and it matches the rest of the store perfectly.

Read moreUpdate 9-29. Dropped to 1* because this is utterly the worst one. As well as incompetent unhelpful managers. I didn't see my order on the board so I asked a manager. He told me they didn't have my order and I should contact customer service. I contacted them as I was driving to pick up and they said they would contact the store. Where apparently they magically found the order and the agent told me it would be ready in 2-3m. So I drive back. Standing there yet again for several minutes. Finally an employee comes out with another persons order and I ask her about my order. She went to check on it and came back telling me that they had just started preparing it. So the manager was to lazy to check thoroughly. And the person who answered customer service lied to customer service saying it was almost ready.
Honestly this is the worst Chick-fil-A in town service wise. Especially if you order a mobile order for in restaurant pickup. 4 out 5 times I've ordered here I've been unhappy. The "board" will say my order is ready but I'll still have to wait 5-10 minutes. Today I waited so long that my name disappeared off the board. There was only one cashier taking...
