Geek Squad — Local services in Walker

Me and my husband bought an out of box washer that only had a dent in it, but we were encouraged to by the geek squad protection because "they will come to your house day or night to fix the problem." Well let me tell you that is a bold faced lie. My husband called geek squad and at first they said they weren't in our area....so why did best buy sell us this protection??? So we went to best buy and found the guy who sold it to us and had him call Geek Squad, well finally they decided to send someone. Turns out its a third party company called A&E who has a 1 star rating, they came out and had the wrong parts to fix it. Finally I have the repair man coming out today with the supposed right parts to fix it...but this has been a 2 week process. Best buy basically sold us a broken washer and useless geek squad...

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Geek Squad and especially with Anthony. I purchased a computer just last week along with a Microsoft key, but when I went in for help, not only was I not assisted, but I was treated with a lack of compassion and understanding.

What made it worse is that I was asked to drive to the store twice in the same day—only to be refused help after being told to come in. That is unacceptable customer service. When someone makes the effort to follow your instructions and takes time out of their day, they should be met with professionalism and support, not dismissal.

I expected better from Geek Squad, especially after investing in a brand new computer and software. Unfortunately, my experience with Anthony left me feeling frustrated, unvalued, and regretting...

I've come to geek squad twice. One with a problem with a monitor, which they said they don't fix monitors which I find appalling because some monitors are worth more than others computers. The other time I brought my PC tower in because it had a bios problem and they gave me a piece of paper that said it would be ready 4 days out (Friday) and I came back for them to tell me that they hadn't started it yet and it wouldn't be done until Wednesday of the next week. After asking why they gave me a paper saying it would be done on Friday they said they didn't and they said it would be Wednesday, so I fought them on it and had to show them the papers just for them to say they don't know how...
