When we first showed up everyone was vaping sitting eating food they jumped up and stated to seat anywhere so we sat ourselves ordered crab Rangoon, one wonton soup, and one egg drop soup for appetizers. The crab Rangoon tasted like it was sour. So we asked to have fresh ones made so they did and it tasted the same so we passed and did not eat the Rangoon. My wonton soup was burnt so I asked if I could exchange it for another she brought out a replacement soup which was sweet and sour that also came out tasting like it was burnt so I decided not to eat it and told the waitress Miss Lynn , I did not want the soup. my girl Had the egg drop soup and it came out smelling like (fish rotten )that went bad and the color was way off when we asked her to take the soup back. Miss Lynn gave us both an attitude and told us not to order soup then …..And charged us for all three soups and the Rangoon when we only took one bite of two rangoons one for each of us , and one spoon sample of each bowl and turned to go back to the kitchen and not want it. They asked for dark or white meat when it comes to the chicken choice we decided to go with white meat and it was cooked deliciously rice was really moist, but I will never come back just because when I was paying for my order, I asked her to take off the soups because we only only had one taste of it And I was charged for three … Miss Lynn you are a terrible hostess slash waitress charged me 50 $ dollars for one plate of general tso chicken and a mt dew smh because...

We hadn’t been here in several years & wanted to revisit. The food was excellent BUT THE SERVICE/SERVER was VERY POOR! We were extremely disappointed & disgusted with how we were treated. Our server was an older male & when we stated we wanted to “share” a dinner & order a few “a la carte” items he totally dismissed us. He never said one further word to us the remaining time. Not when he brought out food, drinks and NEVER ONCE came to ask how everything was or if we needed anything. He ignored us completely! Even when dropping off bill he was silent & just plain rude. It made our experience a negative one. While we were there he made a personal call to his cable provider while sitting in a booth and proceeded to negotiate with them out loud while he was ignoring a family that was just seated in his section near us. We did not leave a good tip & I walked up to him as he and bus boy laughed about the tip & I confronted him & told him why he got that tip & he denied being rude etc and walked away. We paid up at counter & let the two women know exactly what happened & they were very apologetic and concerned. One of them said he’s like that all the time…Well management may want to address this asap. If I had been on a personal call at work & ignored my patient/client/customer I would be fired & sent home on the spot. We will NOT be back! Possibly for takeout but NEVER dine in. So disappointing to spend good money on a restaurant and have that kind...

Ordered takeout last night for my family. Had an order of Sweet & Sour Chicken, Sesame Chicken, & General's Chicken, with spring rolls, & 3 orders of white rice. Got all the way home which was 20 minutes away to find out they didn't give us one of the white rice we paid for, we did not get sweet and sour chicken, they gave us something I've never seen served at a Chinese restaurant before that contained a few peices of chicken. The general's chicken which was for my husband was 5 very large chunks, not the smells little balls of chicken you would usually get. Then The Sesame chicken was squared little chunks of chicken which were okay at first until I started biting into bones. Decided there was possibly a mistake and they missed one... NO it was every piece after that. Did not eat my food, & I'm the pregnant one who was craving Chinese to begin with, was very disappointed. My husband recommended this restaurant, since it was one of his favs, needless to say with them forgetting the rice, only giving us one spring roll, & completely messing up our order we will not be eating here ever again, & would advise to try any other Chinese restaurant along Alpine. Debating on bringing the food back in when my husband gets home from work today to show them & get our money back. We did not end...

Strange and disappointing experience here as a first time customer. Their online menu almost 50% cheaper than what they charge in the restaurant. After being handed my escalated bill for takeout, I brought the discrepancy up to the manager, she told me they don’t update their online prices, and my choice was either to pay the much higher in-store price, or she would cancel my order. I “chose” the latter because I felt that this tactic is deceptive and most likely driving patronage under false pretenses (see photo below). My two kids and (nursing) wife wasted a bunch of time and ended up getting a pizza instead. Super disappointed with the tricky pricing tactic, but even more so the abysmal response from management. Definitely won’t go back here.

I grew up eating at the first wok on old 28th and had always had an amazing experience. I just recently moved to alpine and thought I would try that location. I am Very disappointed with their customer service. We were over charged on our meals and when my fiancé went to ask the man if he meant to over charge us he was very rude and didn’t offer any explanation as to why the prices on the menu were cheaper than what he decided to punch into the computer. We ordered orange chicken, vegetable fried rice and sautéed broccoli and it was $47 when the online menu added up to be $37. Seems like a scam since the man was just punching in totals into the computer.
