Earlier today, around 7-7:30, I went in to purchase a printer. I have always gone to Best Buy and trust the store, employees, and their products. I found my way to the printers and had picked out 3 potentials. I was just going to narrow my choices down myself, since there weren't employees nearby and it is not a super big deal. Then one of the employees, who is with a customer, says he'll help me next. He repeats this several times, while still with his previous customer. I found this pretty rude, although he had good intentions. I wait probably 5 minutes and have pretty much decided and am ready to go, but then another employee comes over and asks if I have any questions. His name is Kyle, and he was very helpful and nice- he also wasn't with a customer. He helps me decide on the right one based on what I'll be using it for and from. As we're finishing up talking and about to get paper and check out, the first employee comes back and obnoxiously hovers over Kyle and myself. Kyle politely says that the first employee can continue with me to check out, and nameless employee (I didn't see his name badge) does so. All the while he asks me inappropriate personal questions and is increasingly making me uncomfortable. He says several times that he "would like to take me to dinner" and I find ways to politely decline and try to just get my printer and go. (We did not have any conversation until he was ringing me up at the register and I gave no indication that I was interested in him). As I was leaving I felt totally objectified, and was shocked and annoyed at the employee's behavior. Perhaps acting that way is okay with some people, and I'm sure some women would appreciate that, but I was offended. I came here to get something I need, and have some guidance, as needed, from people that have more knowledge about the products here than I do. Kyle did a great job helping me, and if it weren't for him I would rate this store at a 1 because I was that unimpressed. There is a time and place for flirtatious behavior, and it should not be at your job, with a customer, especially if it causes you to be rude to other customers or your fellow employees. I am still upset about the way I was treated and the way one employee in particular acted- childish and rude. Best Buy needs to go over appropriate behavior...
Read morethey somewhat knowledgeable on the products in which is there within the area working... and that's kind of cool but it's kind of laid back if I do not have the product in use in my own possession or read up on the product and regards to what supposed to do in this that another because really I'm working by the hour at the store I can pick up some instructions the area which I'm working at what the product within my reach in that I'm going to be asked questions about..... but however. if I'm under no pressure by my supervisor, then I can find that down time that I have with no customers standing in front of me or around me that I can do something to improve my knowledge book on the products.. I'm thinking I'm getting ahead because I'm knowing what I'm saying is I'm speaking to the customers would sincere and honesty Best buy's a great store I shopped at the one on Alpine and Alpine is traffic zone ........ so I'm not looking to be rushed outside to store I like to know a little bit more about the product or what this person is standing in front of me know about the product because this is what I needed but now I got to go and research myself to give me something to research that you would have found that can be detrimental to what I'm looking now if you can do some of that or little that or nor that just be honest about what you know about the product and say hair there's some instructions in there and there's an app that you can follow in order to understand little bit more so I advise you not to purchase this product until you ready to say I want it or ready to understand what the product is taking up or I'm taking up means it's going to do what I wanted to do instead of telling me something had to bring back the next day or the next week or next month or org the end of the if you ever ever ever ever ever find somebody that's understands people persons and places and things they should be paid top dollar if not top-dollar they said least get 40% off product once they buy them from you at store.... make a long story short best value is best value it's not the way you make the cake but . but taste some of the cake is a cake instead is a pie.... I don't mean to be wrapping and ranging don't wash one hand...
Read moreAs a total tech member, loyal customer, and spent over $5,000 at Best Buy I am extremely unsatisfied, they re- scheduled me 10 times or even more, after talking on the phone with customer several times, I couldn’t get through with anybody with the correct information, nobody was trained right and nobody knew where to direct me, I then went into alpine Best Buy, and the sales rep at the front tried to help me but moved my dates back even more, I DIDNT ask him to do that but he did and couldn’t fix it, he had messed up, and the manager came over and couldn’t do anything or even take responsibility over any situation, BEST BUY DIDNT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for its actions and that is not a reliable business or professional business, I have told every person about this situation, I have now left 2 reviews about this situation, and not one person out of this big business has taken responsibility, my family and I were living without a stove, microwave, fridge, washer, or dryer for 2.5 weeks, and before these 2.5 weeks, we had ordered all of these apolínea a month in advanced, we spent even more money on take out and food, extra things to help make our life easier, but to avoid this situation, we ordered in advance, not one person from Best Buy helped me in this situation because it was their fault, those weeks was so difficult for our family, your telling me a big company full of way too many customer service reps not one took responsibility and not even a manager helped me out, as a total tech member, loyal customer, and having spent over $5,000 I am extremely unsatisfied, and do not recommend Best Buy I also will not be renewing my membership due to this awful experience, never again will I shop at this business, also I had ordered a washer and dryer, aside from this big purchase also months before this purchase on a different transaction, so was a loyal customer.
