Everytime I bring anything to sell they hardly take anything back, even things with tags BUT I've seen clothes on racks that have holes, is it kuz its brand name? It was Under Armour, guessing thats why its on the rack. This last time I brought things they didn't even look through the clothes! You always get a mess back in the box and they were exactly how I left them. And I have clothes in my box I never brought in. So they're mixing up ppls boxes now. I had items to grab today but also a return, I asked if i still needed to get in the normal line for the return, 2 women didnt even look at me or say a thing, just nodded their head. Rarely see ppl smile there. Waste of time here. Go to Kid to Kid on 28th street. They at least go through your items and are very nice there.
Lastly, really don't want to see a copy and paste response from the company. It helps nothing. Makes ppl more mad when you clearly don't care. Do better
So after the response, ya you're def lying. All my clothes were not touched. They were exactly how i had them originally. And your ppl are never that nice about putting clothes back in the boxes. Always trashed. And I absolutely had someone else's clothes in my box kuz I'd never buy those things and I don't use detergent with scent, i cant, sensitive skin and it smelled like whatever you use in your store. Plus, in my return box there was other things I never brought in. So unless you put multiple ppls items in the same totes, you're...
Read moreFrom dropping off to picking up my clothes this process was less than desirable. Not friendly and absolutely no customer service skills. They asked me to leave my items for review, which I was fine with, but could not give me a receipt or a copy of the print off they tagged my items with. I read the website before coming in on how they requested items to be submitted. Clean, folded and in a box. I did all of this and when I picked up the “unwanted” items found them wadded up and tossed back in the bin. For what it’s worth I’d suggest the franchise owner or manager focus on what’s going on when no one is looking. Phone etiquette and direct customer contact training seems to be necessary. You had PLENTY of girls behind the desk that were more engaged in chatting among themselves then doing their job. I understand that they are “trained” to look for certain items and can appreciate that BUT there was no rhyme or apparent reason why very similar things were “picked” and others were not. My guess is they care more about social hour than the job/tasks in front of them. I worked in customer service when I was their age and cared about the family run business I was the face of. I would be concerned as a business owner that you may not have the staff in place that you...
Read more5 years ago this was a 5 star store. It has been declining and declining. Two years ago, it had dropped to a 3 star. Now it is a 1 star.
The store is often dirty and messy, and the bathroom rarely has soap.
Every electronics item we bought from them was broken.
You have to check every piece of clothing for stains and holes.
Games are missing pieces.
They don't seem to actually check the items they purchase for resale anymore.
On top of that, if you want to sell, you can either stay in store or wait and pick up later, which would be nice, but in 48 hours you forfeit your items. The wait time for in store is an hour and a half or more, and they won't even let you go next door to shop while waiting. And if we don't wait, it would be 4 days before we could pick up the remaining items and money.
The staff are unhelpful and dismissive. It's shocking what a change has happened in the past few years. We will only go to the 28th street location...
