Manager got into an argument with us when we came back to get the 2 items missing in our order, her and two other employees screamed at us that it was in the bag. Demanded we hand them back the bag and then said they put them in the bag and that we were hiding it. Refused refund after it was requested and only then made the missing items which we declined not knowing what they did to them. Very rude and immature behavior from manager and employees. When I called back the manager refused to provide name and employee # so that I could provide those when I complain to corporate and district management. Manager wasn't letting me talk, was yelling over me, and hung up on me.
Tried calling back next day, wasn't allowed to talk to a manager, they hung up on me and then turned the phone off.
Went in and asked for the store manager or higher and said I'd be happy to talk to them on the phone and waited at a booth quietly and peacefully, but was accosted by a male employee who refused to call his manager and threatened to call the cops on me. Waited an hour and asked if the manager was called and able to talk to me on the phone, was informed that she was called but that she wasn't going to talk to me or deal with the situation until Monday morning. At this point it's obvious that they need customer service training and de-esculation skills as every encounter with them gets escalated by them into yelling and threats by them. Worse experience at a Taco Bell.
As an autistic man I would say this is the worse I've ever been treated by a fast food place, abialist untrained employees and management, no process to talk to a different manager, get hung up on. Employees need training and management needs replaced. It says a lot that I'm saying Taco Bell in walla walla has the worst service, that means I'm saying it's worse than KFC/A&W who literally yells at customers and DoorDash Drivers, at least in that case I could get a hold of corporate and put in a complaint that was followed up on.
Talked to store manager today, she says she wasn't called or informed by her staff of the incident and expressed sorrow that it happened. Let her know that we wanted changes made to training in customer service skills, policy knowledge, and that we wanted the manager we dealt with that night fired. Not sure any of that will happen 🤞. Considering all the similar reviews on here I doubt that the store manager isn't aware of the issues and compliant in them. Also have complaints in...
Read moreNow I live in this town but given the fact that I am all the way in College Place I usually visit the Taco Bell on 9th because it's closest. After tonight it will be the ONLY one I go to. My friend's and my experience was just horrendous. First, whoever was taking the order clearly either wasn't trained properly for drive thru, or she just wasn't listening. There was no one in front of us and I know the lobby was empty and yet we had to repeat every part of our order multiple times. And when I asked her to "hold on" she kept asking questions. On top of that several things were missing in the store: they were out of guac, the freeze machine was down, and they were out of hot sauce...etc. Things that, if I had been informed of in the beginning, would have caused me to go somewhere else to eat (but would not have cause me to write a bad review. Note to Taco Bell: informed customers are cooperative and more understanding customers.) So we get our food and are sure to check and make sure it's all there. The girl gave us ONE packet of Fire sauce for an order of 5 things, so I ran inside and grabbed some more from the lobby...I really wish we had checked the contents of our order individually. We get back to the house to find our food is burnt. The tortillas are literally scorched along the outside. As if that isn't bad enough, my cheese quesadilla with extra creamy jalapeno turns out to have NO creamy jalapeno, my bean burritos have rancid onions in them proving them inedible, and my Baja Blast Mtn Dew has so little syrup in it, it tastes like soda water. That was my entire order. There was not a single thing right with it. I might as well have had no food. Then I go to call them and whoever answered was very hasty and didn't wait for me to confirm anything before saying "Sorry, goodbye" and hanging up. No "is there anything else I can help you with?"...no waiting for me to say goodbye back. I was in total shock when the call ended, not to mention furious. What a waste of time and money.
So that concludes what has proven to be my worst experience in any fast food restaurant. Big thumbs down on Wilbur Ave. Taco Bell tonight. There is no redemption for you. I'm not even going to go back for my replacement quesadilla. Emma...
Read moreHusband and I went to Taco Bell last Thursday 8/8/2024 ordered a special that they advertised on TV for $ 7.00 and a chicken quesadilla, I also asked for a coffee instead of a soda for the drink with the special. The girl who took my order said that I can't get the special order for 7.00 because I have to order that on line for that price, ok but, the comical doesn't say that. I ordered it anyway for 10.00 and with a coffee instead of a soda. After I paid for it she gave me a soda cup and I told her that I ordered a coffee instead. She said oh wait a minute and she went back to talk to her manager, she then came back to tell me that because she didn't hear me she cannot take back the soda and return my money for the soda but that I don't have to take the soda. She also can't give me my money back for it either. She said that they are a franchise and not a store. I said your not going to give me back the money I paid for the soda and she said no because they are not a store. I ended up taking the order and gave it to my husband and I went to somewhere else to eat. By the way the chicken quesadilla I ordered, came out as a cheese instead of chicken. Wonder what they would have said about that one. We will not be going back. They are rude and push the employees to take care of situations instead of the manager handling...
