We did an online catering order over $250 (after 17 - 8 inch sandwiches and 15 bags of chips). Our 11:45 scheduled pick-up was ready at 12:20-ish, so I realized I should have called ahead to see if it was ready, since our office is across the street. I finally hear my name called and go grab the bags of sandwiches, asking if that was everything, but stupidly not checking or counting myself.
I got back to our office with 10 sandwiches. Our staff lunch was already far behind schedule, which is hard enough to coordinate between all the attorneys - so I called and they said that they had seen the other bag after I left and I could come back to get it. Oh? No offer to drive it over to me, or extend a sincerely apology for further disrupting our lunch. We ate almost an hour after we were schedule to, but the sandwiches were good. Bread was delicious (except that I should have ordered all sourdough from what people were saying - that seemed to be everyone's favorite!)
Most importantly, they got right the orders right. It's frustrating ordering online because if we change one thing about sandwich size, toppings, or quantity, the entire order of that particular sandwich resets, so it was good that everything was made right and tasted good, once it finally got to our tables.

Read moreThis is a chain sandwich spot. Generally sourdough and co is solid, tastier, and frankly better than other shops like subway, etc.
This location needs better training with staff and more management.
Ordered a sandwich on my lunch break. Young lady in the front took the order, 6” Italian combo. She Asked no other questions besides adding spread, a pickle, and cheese. Sent the order.
When I got back to work, no produce on the sandwich. It don’t occur to me that I would have to prompt the order taker that I would want produce versus them asking, “would you like lettuce tomato, etc” I called the shop to talk to management. She said a manager isn’t in and is only on site 2-3 days a week.
She asked if I’d like to leave my number. I did, no follow up or call back.
Please retrain staff to take a full order and if your manager is only able to be present 2-3 times a week, it’s likely you need to promote someone to an assistant manager position to handle daily operations if they are too busy managing 3 other locations. Which is what the worker over the phone told me of why a manager is not present for 2/3...
Read moreWe've been wanting to try one of these for quite some time. Today was our day. We especially appreciate the fact that they have outdoor seating so we could take our dog with us. Having said that, the Ruben style pastrami sandwich was divine! They don't put that god-awful Russian dressing on it and you have some options, but we had it dry on the marble rye and it was just perfect! I ordered a bowl of soup for us to share. We're older and our appetites are smaller and the first time it came out it was absolutely ice cold. We have no idea how that happened because they did check the temperature on their soup and it was correct. For some reason the bowl we got was ice cold. I immediately took it in, asked them to see to it it was heated through. The next one they brought out was perfect. So I have to commend their staff there. They were very friendly. Not upset at all when I pointed out the soup was cold, had it back out to us in a reasonable amount of time and their fresh sourdough bread is almost as good as the stuff we got in San Francisco...
