This was my first HBH catered meal and I knew the ham would be superb but I didn't know what to expect from the sides I ordered. I wondered if HBH was a "one trick pony". I reheated everything according to the instructions and set up my serving table and crossed my fingers. I even set out salt pepper and other spices and sauce just in case it needed zhooshing up. Well let's just say I tried to pass it off like I cooked it myself it was so good. Everything was seasoned to perfection. I got loaded mash, sweet potato souffle, tuscan broccoli, and green bean casserole. Even my highly critical mother complimented the food. I was also pleasantly surprised at the amount of food for the price. I choose HBH because of the value you get 2 meats and 4 sides for less than $140 that's amazing. Compared to cracker barrel and a local butcher shop. And I had plenty meat leftover for sandwiches or to be frozen for later. I loved that we got two meats because some of my family doesn't like turkey but I prefer it as a healthier option. Picking up my order was an excellent experience they had the store set up like a racetrack pit stop for fast in and out traffic. I was able to get my order in less than 5 mins and even stopped to get a picture with the grinch who was there with his dog! I'm sure they were there for kids but it made the kid in me happy he's my favorite Christmas character. All in all I would definitely choose HBH again to cater my holiday/special event meal. Upon arrival she didnāt say may I help you, welcome in or greeted in any form or fashion for that matter. I showed her my QR code and she scanned my phone, said āhereās your receiptā and walked away. Told the guy next to her that was helping a guest to get my order out of the fridge. It was literally 3 steps behind her and shuffled herself to the back as if my time didnāt matter. Unfortunately she is a manager from what the receipt says. She will never have a better job than this if she doesnāt fix her horrible attitude. The amount of money we are shelling out for a couple slices of meat only to be met with someoneās poor attitude is unacceptable. If Maddison doesnāt want to work tell her to find another job. Her home life or issue with certain groups of people is not my issue. Also , the younger guy didnāt even want to say thank you. This is what happens when you try to support local. Someone needs to speak with her. A manager should be providing top tier service to EVERYONE. Brick and mortar is fast becoming a thing of the past. I will order online...

Thatās it, no explanation, no attempt. When asked why, she just repeated āit not gonna workā and stared at me blankly. I believe what she meant was that SHE was not going to work. There was no attempt to resolve the issue, honor the coupon, or do anything to satisfy a customer. She did not care to be bothered with customer service, which is a shame when itās your job. The cashier was also not friendly with the other customers in line that I observed. It was apparent that customers are a inconvenience to that cashier at this location. The other members of the staff seemed friendly and willing to do their job, but no one offered any explanation either. I understand that maybe I misread the coupon or there was possibly some reason behind her statement, but without good customer service I am clueless as to what that might be.
