I will never step foot again inside of this establishment. I decided to dine in (for the very 1st time as I’m new to the area) after having a great day at the Aviation family show near the base and I wish I’d spent my hard working money elsewhere. Myself, along with my 2 yr old toddler and friend with child of same age were extremely uncomfortable the entire time. A large family group sat across from us and stared the entire time. Towards the end of our meal we noticed we were still being glared at so we politely wave. The women of the group, (seemed to be Caucasian and mid-aged) aggressively stated, “Y’all need to learn how to teach yall kids to behave and to not disturb everyone here.” This Ofcourse had me livid, because no one else, not even our waiter had said a word, as our kids were just being kids and playing with the coloring page provided by the restaurant. 2-year-old toddlers (little humans who have only been in the world for two years trying to figure this big world out) are going to play that’s what they’re suppose to do. We felt targeted and racially profiled and offended. When our discomfort and desire to informed the manager was presented to our waiter, the waiter responded with, “Oh the Manager isn’t going to come over as she don’t want to start a fuss or anything.” The waiter was sweet and polite but I still insisted on speaking to the manager to voice our concerns respectfully.
The GM finally came over and it was clear she didn’t care to even acknowledge our discomfort or concerns. She proceeded to contradict herself multiple times and felt as though, “if she didn’t hear anything being said from the other party with her own two ears, then it never happened.” I found it utterly disrespectful and distasteful as the GM to not even apologize for what we had experienced or say anything remotely close to showing empathy or care towards our situation. As an 8yr combat Veteran, and psychotherapist, I have never experienced this blatant disregard, lack of human decency and racism before. I strongly believe if it was the other way around, and we as POC would’ve said something highly offensive to a Caucasian, the support would've been there. Instead, we were gaslighted and giving the run around regarding our discomfort and the disrespect that was shown while in the restaurant. Again, this is the first and last time I’ll come to this place and I hope no POC experience what we had to...
Read moreIt just truly does hurt to walk into this restaurant last night, wanting to sit and eat and drink at the bar, but being singled out, pointed out, laughed at, ridiculed, and treated like total street trash by the manager and the bartender. This happened on Thursday July 31st, 2025 at about 8:45 p.m. I did not get the manager’s name, but he is a young, tall, white man with curly strawberry blonde hair pulled into a ponytail. And the bartender’s name is Jules. I sat to the bar and was inquiring about the price of their alcoholic drinks because I never had any of their drinks before. I was already broken down as it was. The other patrons at the bar all sat and stared at me right before. I even spoke a word as if I was already the center of attention, but in a negative way. I asked her about a tequila sunrise, about the price and the quantity. After she told me $10, I said debating with myself whether to get it or not or something else. Then, the manager came into the bar area, and while avoiding eye contact with me, she points me out to the manager because while she was whispering to him, he looked up and stared straight at me. Right after that, he came out from behind the bar and came over and asked me if he could help me with something. I told him that I already asked the bartender. He stayed stuck at a paw because I guess he was supposed to be someone to handle me as a “situation” instead of as a human being with feelings who wanted to be a customer. After he walked out, I got my things together and left. Before even walking out the door, the patrons with the bartender all busted out laughing at me. I had to stand at the door before walking out listening to all the cutdowns and hurt. Thank you for breaking me more.
I apologize. My editing changed the date...
Read moreI had a 5 star rating on Longhorn from previous experience, but clearly a lot has changed. Sun July 14th 24'.. They were busy as per usual, no biggie, we waited. My whole family came for some steak (which didn't disappoint) but we were sat at a table for 5 at most, and we were a group of 7. So we asked to switch tables, that made the manager quite angry. Then my mom goes out to smoke a cig after eating and watches a white guy and a black guy get into a red toyota tundra, she noticed they were sitting at the bar before walking out. While she's smoking she hears a crunch and sees them stop for at least a minute. She assumed it was something in the parking lot on the ground (maybe a plastic bottle or something similar). Come to find out it's MY CAR that crunched! They hit my car with their hitch and LEFT!! They stopped long enough to see the damage and hauled out as fast as possible. My mom proceeds to go back in the restaurant and ask the bartender for info on the two men, which the manager told him not to give us. She then told my mom that she couldn't give any details on the men bc of "store policy", then she refused to give the cops details &/or camera footage of the men who hit my car & ran! I will not be returning to this location until she is gone! The food was delicious though so props to the cooks bc they did their job!! They would get 5☆ rating in my opinion. Maybe park somewhere else and walk over...
