Genji Japanese Steaks-Seafood — Restaurant in Warner Robins

So last night my fiance and I stopped in because everywhere else had over an hour wait and we were starving (we should have waited the hour). When I ordered my steak and scallops I saw that they had Yaki noodles as a side for some of the dishes so I asked the waitress if I could substitute the noodles for the rice, she went to ask and came back and said I could do it as long as I didn't get my soup, I told her that was fine, I don't really care for miso soup anyway. So they bring our food and my fiance had ordered just the steak and for whatever reason I had way, way more steak than her, she had maybe a child's handful while I had nearly 3 times that. Both our steaks were completely bland, her rice was mushy and had no flavor, and the only vegetables she got was mushrooms (which she doesn't like so she always gives them to me). So they bring the check and there are two entrees on there and an extra $7.50. When I asked what the deal was she said she had to ring me up for a steak Yaki bowl and add the scallops separately which totaled $4 more than my original meal that I ordered. When I asked her about it she said sorry that's how we have to ring it in 🤷‍♂️ no would you like to speak to an owner, nothing. Mind you I told her if swapping the noodles for rice was gonna be a problem not to worry about it. So when I asked the owner about it she said the same thing the waitress did then the male owner tried to act like I was in the wrong for ordering it and they REFUSED to charge me for what I ordered. I paid it and left. Looooong story short we won't be back I work for my money and don't like being forced to pay for things I wasn't expecting to. Especially when the food was sub par at best. Genji's if you don't care about your customers they won't come back. I see now why we were two of only 4 people in...

My Mom has brought food home from here before. And I loved it, but today was the first time I ate here. The atmosphere was very nice, establishment was very tidy/clean. My Mom & I came here and we spent about 30 minutes here. We were seated right away, we ordered & our Soup/Salad was out literally like 30 seconds after we ordered. If you have a Sore Throat/Strep Throat. And are having trouble swallowing I highly recommend their soup. I had a Sore Throat & it helped me out immensely. Our food was out lickity-split, like 5 minutes after we ordered. It was piping hot & delicious. The Hibachi Chicken & Shrimp w/Fried Rice & Vegetables super yummy. And that Yum-Yum Sauce very delicious. The Teriyaki Sauce on the Chicken OMG. But the Soup was Outstanding 11 out of 10. But what really made it a fantastic trip was our waitress, Lindsey. She was sweet, kind & very helpful. I'll be coming back because of the food but mostly because of her. She made my first trip with my Mom here one to remember. I visited this place today with friend who told me this was a very good place to eat- i am not from warner robins nor do i reside in warner robins as my friend do so i went based off her word, i was extremely dissappointed to say the least, first off, i wanted extra vegetables to accompany my meal (steak/shrimp) the waitress was so rude and disrespectful, she claim the only vegetables they had was onion/zucchini with my meal (???) And the only vegetable i could get was broccoli which by the way was a high upcharge in price (2.25 more)....i continued to try and explain to the waitress and i continued to infor m her i wanted a variety of vegetables (carrot, zucchini, squash, onion , mushrom, etc) she claimed no but when my friend meal came out, they put the vegetables i wanted on my friend plate!!! SMH angry......i will NOT ever return back, my food was not good, the service was poor, they rushed us out and was literally turning the lights out!!! How...
