Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Warwick

I ordered a ribeye on Sunday 3/3/24 to go, after my 72hr work week only to find that my med/rare steak was well done. I was too tired to drive back and assumed calling in would require i return for a refund/exchange which i wasn't prepared to do at that moment. I come in the next Sunday after work 3/10/24 around 6:30 to grab a beer and explain the situation with a picture of the grossly overcooked steak. The server was great and spoke to her manager after agreeing it was way overcooked. She spoke to her manager on duty whom i believe is a miss Kacey but not sure because she never actually took the time to speak to me. Instead the manager decided to have her server tell me that i wouldn't be taken care of for my poorly cooked meal because i didn't come back same day or call the restaurant. I would have called but for what, just to have to return same day which i wasnt prepared to do. If the manager could make the assumption that i was there for a free meal in person without even speaking to me then honestly what are the chances they will believe me over the phone without retuning same day with the rubber steak they sold me!??? Anyways order to go at your own risk from this particular chilies and if you do be ready to return same day or be profiled in person as a freeloader while getting ripped off by someone you never even met. Worst experience i have ever had...

If I could give this a 0 I would. Now I don’t normally complain about service seeing I’ve been in the service industry myself. But whoever we had for our server today was just god awful miserable. It was pretty busy and for a Saturday night I understand that. But this server had the worst attitude as soon as she had us. Forgot about our drinks that we ordered and had to be reminded about them and by the time we got them you could tell they have been sitting at the bar for too long. No biggie it’s busy. Sure. But after that she forgot about us for 20 mins. Would attend to other tables and almost avoided us 😅 and then when we finally got her to take our order, had the worse attitude bringing out our apps because it just took so long. Once we got our actual meals my steak was way over cooked and the sides we cold. I don’t think it’s a huge deal so I send it back. She acted like that was a huge inconvenience on her end. My bad. And even when I got it again it was still cooked wrong but at that point I just was too done with the place. And when she would check up on us for drinks she treated our table so much differently from others even though we were kind and understanding. But that is unacceptable. She needs to get her attitude in check and take a chill pill. Never had I had too bad of an experience here until tonight....

The service that we received was horrible. Not only did it take two hours for us to finish being at Chili’s. When we went to go and pay the manger kept on saying that we never made a payment. We pulled up our online banking to show the manager that we did make an online payment and it went through on our side. She kept on saying that we needed to pay twice she ended up, not making us pay for the second transaction. We were also seated next to the hostesses for the night, and all they did was complain about the customers and the employees the entire two hours that we were there. They continuously said there was a 25 minute wait for the people coming in because they would not and refused to clean tables or do anything other than stand there and talk about the customers and the employees. When we originally sat down, the bartender ended up taking our order and unfortunately, she only saw us one time she did not come back to check on us our take the rest of our order the male waitress that we had was phenomenal. He tried his best at keeping us very calm. He tried getting everything out in a timely manner, but unfortunately, with it only being his second day, he can only do so much.
