I’m not trying to have this person lose their job but my experience was bad from arrival. I brought a long time friend out to eat and we were craving breakfast food so why not denny’s? We were seated fast and given water but somehow there was attitude with every jester. I didn’t think much of it but felt discomfort with every moment the waitress was around. While discussing what we wanted to order she quickly comes to the table speaking abruptly and loudly interrupting us which is fine because i know she has multiple people to attend to but upon saying no she just scoffs and once more there’s this unwavering attitude. We notice the tables around us just staring not knowing who’s to blame for the passive aggression. Respectfully, in hushed tones I mention to my friend that I feel this tenseness. My friend has a deep sigh of relief as they too were having the same feeling. I understand having a bad day but to my chagrin she was very friendly to every other table with warm squinting eyes and friendly conversation. She asked for refills and had fun banter while doing it. As a seasoned worker (long tenure) I would expect her to give every customer the same kindness because you never know who’s going to tip better than the next and who’s day your making. She never came to the table to ask for refills. She never made small talk. Every time she made an interaction her eyes widened as if to size us up and wasn’t that warm squint i noticed from her assisting all the other customers. I felt so uncomfortable at one point I put my wallet on the table because I felt like she was judging us based on her own prejudices. I don’t know if that’s actually why, all I can say is it didn’t feel right. I felt like i had something to prove so I tipped half the bill. Clearly the delivery was wrong, but when I got to the restaurant and gave them the wrong order and asked for my order, the girl in the cashier just started to raise her voice and say that she couldn't do anything, she didn't even look in the system if they had that order, I told her that I even drive 20 minutes to give the restaurant the wrong order and ask for my correct order, she just said "Why didn't you call?", even when I showed her that I called multiple times and no one answered the call because they had the phone turned off, but then the phone miraculously worked again in seconds (¿Miracle of God?). even when I told her that Uber told me that I need to speak directly to the restaurant since they couldn't do anything since the order was completed, she just said: It's not my problem! Even when I drive 20 minutes to give them the wrong order! So guys, if you ever order from this restaurant and your Uber or Grubhub delivers another order and the order is complete, don't expect them to help you with your order here, since they will tell you that they don't even have it in the system! (Without even looking at the system and she lies directly to your face) Do that means that… I order it then to a ghost? The address is even on the receipt, but they say they didn't get it. Even when is the only Den in the area. The only solution is to call the bank and cancel the payment, although I will try once again directly with Uber.

Read moreI’m giving one star because the waitress was such a jerk. Older lady, black hair, working april 1 at 6 pm. She was not welcoming at all instead she was abrupt and rude. I was quiet and didn’t indicate I was upset at all so she had no reason to be a jerk. She made me feel rushed at every point. First she cut me off when I was ordering and talked over me to correct me on something that didn’t even make a difference. When she brought the food to the table she put it down in front of me while I was looking at my phone, pushing my phone down under the plate. I didn’t notice her coming and she didn’t give me anytime to notice and react she just did it. I can’t believe how rude everything about her was and for no reason. I was nice and smiled, I said please and thank you. When I payed the bill I said “thank you, goodbye” and she completely ignored me and didn’t respond. I’m assuming because I only left a 10% tip because I didn’t think she deserved more with the way she was acting.
