Read moreThe positives are evident- it's a large space with lots of TVs that sells alcohol. The defining characteristic was the wide open space and the variety of games available (pool, darts, etc.). However, the menu is limited to pizza, the pizza we ordered (count-chick-ula) was COVERED in Asian sauce making it uneatable, the drinks were no cheaper than anywhere else ($2.75 for a Miller lite), the selection of drinks was minimal, and the "usual" crowd was drunk and yelling obscenities at each other over the other customers. Without some major changes (in service/management and not atmosphere), I'd be surprised if this place stays going another 10 years. No younger crowd is being drawn in and there are tons of other options in the area. Lastly, there are a 2 more things. The place is covered in steelers stuff. We went during peak hours on a Friday and there were maybe 20 people there. The other couple we say (20 or 30-somethings) didn't eat their pizza as well and didn't stay too long either. We probably won't be back, but I could see the older/regular crowd coming here for a drink every now and then. Unfortunately, that's the same thing that will kill this bar in the end. If nothing changes to welcome new business in, things...

So, I am to understand that you are not welcome to play trivia at macks uf you don't drink alcohol? I mean, it's your place and you can do what you want, but that seems exclusionary to people who don't drink for health reasons, religious reasons, pregnant women or just plain people who like to play trivia but don't drink.
I do drink. I just don't usually drink while I'm eating. It's very likely that once trivia started my wife and I would have ordered drinks and sat for awhile. Or we would have had our food, enjoyed our cokes and been on our way in upwards of 25 minutes or so.
It seemed like the waitress couldn't wait to tell us we weren't welcome to sit and have a coke without asking if we planned to have any drinks. Well, you're in such a hurry to get us out so we immediately left,...
