Sweet Talk Cafe — Restaurant in Washington Township

My husband and I recently took courses to earn our Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR®) designation. During a morning break, I scrolled through Facebook and one of my peeps posted and raved about a new café in Turnersville - The Sweet Talk Café. I, of course, looked it up, and it just happened to be around the corner from our class.

Oh my! 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! This is my dream café of sweet cheats! Cannoli this and that. Cheesecake this and that. Frosted cookies. Cakes. And so much more! We got there close to closing so there wasn’t a ton left, but enough for us. This time.

While choosing my sweets I heard my name. To my surprise, I turned around and there was another one of my peeps with her kids! Extra sweet!!❤️

The service was very friendly and patient. It was too late for me to have coffee. I’ll definitely try it next time. The sweets assortment we brought home was so good - I highly recommend the cannolis and the cheesecake cupcake. My boys loved the chocolate covered pretzels and the Yoda cookie. I can’t wait to try more of their creative concoctions!

I bought 6 cupcakes ($14) for my husband’s birthday dinner celebration with family. The selection of cupcakes is great. Tons of flavors. I got chocolate peanut butter, cannoli, biscoff cookie, cookie dough, salted caramel pretzel, and chocolate brownie. The toppings were beautiful but unfortunately the cupcake part was so dry. We ended up eating the icing and garnish off the cakes but not the actual cupcake part because it wasn’t worth it😩 such a disappointment, we wanted to love it. But our preference is a moister cake. The staff were so friendly and the ambiance of the bakery was perfect. Can’t speak to other things at the bakery but not a fan of the cupcake taste because of dryness. Such a wonderful little bakery for so many reasons!! I reached out less than a week before my daughter’s party Lynsey responded nearly immediately. I told her what I was thinking, sent a couple ideas & the party invitation so she knew the color scheme.. & she created the most amazing birthday cake.. almost too beautiful to cut!!! While my husband was picking up the cake he grabbed a mini oreo cheesecake, & a lemon scone for me. The scone was absolutely perfect just the right amount of lemon.. & my husband is still talking about the mini cheesecake “the most perfect, light airy, Oreo cheesecake I’ve ever had, I hate that they’re closed once I get off of work” aka.. hint.. hint🤣.. so I’m stopping tomorrow to pick him up some.. & maybe a...
