I love this Cava. The staff are all super kind, professional, and helpful. The food quality is consistent and delicious. The staff are clearly subjected to terrible things they shouldn't have deal with because of their specific location in Shaw.. but they don't complain or let customers feel it. They maintain their composure, work hard, and handle situations that cannot possibly paid enough to deal with.

This location also fully needs a remodel for the things they can't mitigate with their excellent service. There is definitely something wrong with the HVAC and fixing it would probably help regulate the temperature in the space better while saving money long-term because the unit(s) wouldn't be working so hard to heat and cook. There's also plenty of dead lobby space as such that they could expand to include a second prep line for online orders and create a staging area for those orders behind the register (because theft would be rampant if it was customer facing) without sacrificing accessibility or seating capacity. And they need it! Even at off peak times I see dozens of online orders come in simultaneously and a see a physical line form for in-store orders. The staff do everything possible to take and make orders for online and in-store expeditiously but they are handicapped by their lack of equipment. They deserve better! I hope someone at minimum does a cost benefit analysis of improving this Cava and rewards the team with raises for absolutely...

I am shocked at the horrible service from the team members at this location. Last night I came after working out at 9:30. When I ordered, I had asked for the dips on the side and the lady said they were all out of side cups and couldn’t do that. I asked her to then just put them in a separate bowl, she ignored me, then said do you want me to put them on your food. This went on a back a forth for a while when I finally got annoyed and said just put them in a separate bowl. She said we are out of side cups and we are about to close. I am not going to waste a whole bowl for dips and started telling me I shouldn’t come when they’re closing. I got very upset told her fine put them in a bowl don’t put them in a bowl it’s fine, I will reach out to my friend who is a district manager and explained what happened. She got angry and told me to go right ahead she also knows the manager or something. Then when she rudely finished asking what else I wanted on the bowl she asked me what my name was, I told her she doesn’t need to know that, she said that was fine and pulled out her phone and started taking pictures and videos of me. Literally the most unfriendly and worst customer service I...

I’ve come to this location multiple times over the past week, and I have never — I repeat, never — experienced such blatant disrespect at any business in my life. I believe the employee’s name was Anissa (or Anesa?), and to say she was unprofessional would be putting it mildly. When I tried to get her attention to ask a simple question about my order, she literally looked me dead in the face, told me to wait, and then proceeded to pull out her phone and scroll right in front of me. I was stunned. There was a growing line of customers, and not only was no one moving with any urgency, but another young woman behind the counter was also visibly irritated and flat-out rude in how she was speaking to people. The tone, the attitude, the lack of basic courtesy — it was completely unacceptable. Now, I will say the food is great (credit where it’s due), but good food doesn’t excuse bad behavior. It’s clear this location has some serious training and management issues that need to be addressed ASAP. Would I reccomend this place? Yes, but not this location. Go literally anywhere else where the staff values your time and treats paying customers with...

I normally really enjoy the food at Cava and today was no exception. However, there always seems to be some sort of issue with the service at this location. No matter when I come in, something isn’t available. Whether it’s the pitas, forks, napkins, or straws, something is always missing. Today topped the cake. When I walked in at 8pm, two hours before closing, the entirety of the steam table was packed up so that it couldn’t be seen. A restaurant that’s built on building your own bowl needs to have the ingredients visible for their customers to make decisions. I understand wanting to pack up early so you can leave at closing but two hours early is absurd. I hope management will work with this location to better train their staff.

4 words- party in your mouth! I love this fresh take on a Chipotle but almost Mediterranean style/ maybe a tad bit healthier. The line was quick and efficient and I had a great experience overall. I gotta be honest: I really don’t know half of what was in my bowl or what I was putting in my mouth. What I do know: it tasted FANTASTIC. Like I said, a whole party of flavors, sweet, salty, crunchy, creamy, leafy, all the textures and flavors and it just worked. Their specialty lemonade/ flavored drink things were also phenomenal and so refreshing, and super good for you. If I lived in the area Cava would be a place I’d hit up pretty frequently!
