CAVA — Restaurant in Washington

Today was my first eating at Cava .... and honestly it was the greatest first time experience ever. I went in not knowing what time expect had no idea what the menu options were just that it was Mediterranean food. I walk back a few times and today took the leap to try it and I very much pleased with my finds. When I went to the Columbia Heights Cava Location, I was greeted and helped by a lovely young lady named antia. I had no ideas what to order I saw supergreens and went from there. I was so in love with all the different options it was like combining a full salad with all the taste a spices of a four course meal.#Loved it Back to the visit so I end up going with the anita's recommendation and turned out to be the perfect fit for me. Usually I am a very picky eater so I was a little nervous as she put in certain ingredients but it turned out to be the best combination I could have ever asked for; super greens, braised lamb, harissa and much more delicious goodness. Now all I want to eat is spicy harissa. Thanks Antia and the Columbia Heights Cava staff for making my meal the best one I have ever had. Great food and awesome customer service. I work in the food service so I know it can be hard to make every customers experience great but after this experience all I I can say I know that they made have the best experience I have had especially compared to other restaurants I feel like they have gone and done an emaculate job....

On 12-1-22 I was at Children’s National Hospital in DC for my daughter who was undergoing heart surgery. As you can imagine it was very stressful and emotional. On 12-2-22 she was able to talk and developed an appetite. When asked what she wanted for dinner she replied, “CAVA”. No way I would ever deny her request I Goggled the neared CAVA. It indicated the nearest one was located 14th Street DC, Columbia location. My daughter wanted her food a certain way at which I really didn’t understand due to the fact I had never been to a CAVA. Upon my arrival I tried to explain how I wanted the order and was assisted by the manager, later ID as Elmer. I explained to Elmer I needed the order a certain way. I explained the whole situation about my daughter and that I didn’t want to disappoint her. Elmer took his time to complete the order exactly how my daughter requested. Elmer then advised me that he wanted to treat my daughter to the meal. To say the least I was overwhelmed and couldn’t thank him enough for his generosity.I wanted to share this story due to the fact what my daughter had endured over the last 24 hours, Elmer made her feel special out of his own kindness.

A new loyal...

So basically today work was very busy for me and we usually have 1 of us out of 4 pick up lunch for us. We decided to go with Cava today. My co worker went and picked Up the food ordered via the app but unfortunately my order was messed up. Now I was so upset. The Day just kept getting worse. At the same time i was too busy and hungry to even call the store and complain. Eventually, after 15 mins or so I started eating my food and I had a chance to call the store. Now I was being a little rude and I feel bad about it now but then again I just wanted the delicious spicy lamb meatballs I had ordered. When I called I actually never expected to get my ordered fixed BUT GUESS WHAT... This really great lady named Cecilia apologized for the mistake and offered to bring me another bowl with the meatballs this time..AND SHE SAID SHE WOULD BRING IT HERSELF PERSONALLY SINCE I WAS JUST DOWN THE STREET!! This is what I call BEYOND AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. This is why I love Cava. Thanks for making it up to me in the most unexpected way. This was literally the highlight of my day. The food was yummy...
