Usually Adult between 40-50 years of age love to come there 6 times then young adults and even teenagers. Oh is it really ? Yeah it Is. I was thinking to getting in but I must dress very casual for the bar. However, I put my suit on, dress shoes, and dress hat that comes with the black suit. I don't want to just enter the place to enjoy life while everyone dress very attractive for the day but not me. Lucky me I change from normal fashion to prom dress. I plan to enter the Bar to improve my debute . I see everyone look nice that's what's impress me to do it. However, they remaind me of rich and wealthy people . It's part of why I come there. Read moreCan you give NEGATIVE 5 STARS? On 12.21.22, family and I came to this place for my mother's birthday. I showed up at 8. My family was already there. There was a glass on the table but no water and waited for the server to offerme a drink. I can say the bartender was creative on the mocktail but it took him 10 minutes. Given the place was not busy and so it is unacceptable. We finished the appetizers by 8:45pm. We waited until 10:15pm for the main course but by 10:30 the server was already offering boxes. Also the steak and filet were cold and had to send them back. My niece's steak was not done to her request and had to get a new one. I could tell she wasn't happy because she didn't boast about the food. When I got the steak and filet back, they were charcoal and had a bitter taste underneath. After that point, I didn't say anything because I didn't want to cause a scene with my mother present. Also didn't finish it.whats the point? My cousin wanted to leave because she works very early but played it out of respect. The dessert took another 10 minutes which came along with the coffee which was also barely at room temperature. In the end we were done by 11pm. They made us have our dinner in 45 minutes when it took them an hour and 30 minutes to serve it. In the meantime, the staff started putting the chairs on top of the counters at the bar which is totally disrespectful because it conveys the message that message that they want us out. Then came the bill which was 1200 dollars which is fine so long as the customer experience is excellent and the food is to die for. Instead, it was the complete opposite and beyond. For such a fine establishment, you expect the manager would come out and apologize but none onsite. Also, I asked for toothpicks, as in plural. The hostes gave me one. I looked at her and she said, "oh you want more?" A few more would be nice like 3 because my dad and my cousin needed them and I wanted one for back up. She gave me two more. Obviously plural nouns are not taught in schools. My mother is on a wheelchair. An African American male stood by the door looked at us and didn't even offer to open the door. Let's not forget the room temperature was colder than outside. I came home with a sore throat.. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE: Any proper establishment should offer water upon seating and drinks served in 7 minutes. The main course should take no more than 25 minutes for a party of 9. The customers should be given time to enjoy the food for at least 25 minutes and be offered drinks because that's where you make profit. I was never offered a second drink. If management nor corporate know this, then they are in the wrong business. Don't throw your money away at this place. Go to Joe's or Seqouia. Or go to the shelter around the corner. The homeless fella said they have a ...
Read moreSo before I start, I just wanted to clarify that I’m posting 1 star not because I’m angry/upset, but because I’m just disappointed.
First, we had reservations at 7 o clock, and we weren’t seated until 7:30. When we were sorted out, we were instructed to take the elevator upstairs, to which we had to wait another 10 minutes to be seated. Once seated, we waited a long time for a server to reach us. We also had to ask for the wine menu. When our drinks arrived, all but 2 had received theirs and that took a long time (we were a party of 8), so we couldn’t even toast until everyone had a drink.
One of our steaks was cooked wrong so we had to send it back. There was a whole item on the menu that we didn’t even order, so we had to wait even longer for the right order.
Food was average. I had the dry-aged filet and honestly, I could have made it at home by the way it tasted. Also, the knives were dull and not serrated which was weird..it felt like a workout just cutting the steaks. Maple carrots tasted plain. Mashed potatoes were dry.
Our server never checked on us. When it was time for the check which had been split 4 ways, it was like everything was just slapped on there randomly. And then the server gave us an attitude when we politely corrected him. As millennials, we understand the struggle of being a server but come on, it’s not that hard.
It was just so surprising because the establishment claims to be a high end restaurant, but that’s not what we experienced. We thought the place to be kid friendly but there were no changing stations. On the subject of restrooms: the paper towels were more like fast food napkins which if you know, melts into your hands pretty much. It was a Sunday night that was slow, but we tried our best to be patient. We just expected more out of a place where our bill was $1,400+.
Positives. We were able to keep the item that we didn’t order. The calamari was really good as well as the dynamite shrimp! The moscato was tasty too! Also when we ordered shots of the buffalo trace, we were hooked up with double shots. The dessert was good. We had the mousse and the butter cake.
Thankfully, it was all good company and we were there to celebrate an engagement. However, we will not be returning. Thank you...
