About 6months ago as of 4/17/15 (maybe less) I ordered a pizza around 11:00pm. At almost 3:00AM I received a call asking if I still wanted the pizza. I had to call back 3 times to reach the store manager for a refund. There was a time before that (probably about 3 months before) that the pizza took a very long time to arrive and it was wrong.
Last night (4/16/15) I ordered a pizza at 8:15pm via the app (the only way to order pizza in my opinion). As usual, I watched the pizza tracker closely. At 9:00pm they were 'out the door.' We live in the same neighborhood. At 9:37 I called and was told that Tony has the pizza and should be there in 10min. At 10:01 I called back and was very rudely told, "Sir, you are not our only customer. Tony has your order along with others and will be there in 10min." At 10:15 I called for a third time. This time "What had happened was" Tony actually didn't have our pizza it was still sitting in the store.
At 10:30pm (2.5 hours after ordering), I received a call from the store saying the driver was out front. I looked out the window and indeed, there was a man sitting in his car, windows rolled up, music blaring so loud you could feel the bass, and he was looking at his phone. I opened the door and stood for about 2 minutes to see if he would ever get out of the car. He didn't so I walked up to the passenger side and knocked on the window. I did knock a little harder than a tap because of the music being so loud. Whom I could only assume was Tony rolled the window down and had the nerve to yell at me for "almost breaking his window." Clearly he doesn't realize how hard somebody would have to hit a passenger size window to break it. He finally gets out of the car (rather reluctantly it seemed). Slowly took my pizza and chicken out of the "warming sleeve" and handed it to me. All the while he kept saying how I didn't need to "hit' his car like that and didn't have to be an [expletive]. I returned an expletive (my bad, I was pissed by now though) and told him to have a great night.
At 10:34 I opened the pizza box in my kitchen. At 10:35 I called to demand a refund for the extremely cold pizza (seriously, it looked like it had been sitting in a fridge). I was told it would take 3-5 business days.
I deleted the @Dominos app and will not be ordering pizza from them again. I am amazed they allow their brand to be franchised out and run in this manner. Franchise owners like this are giving Domino's a bad name, but they allow it. So I deleted the app and will buy local pizza. I might give up convenience and pay more, but...
Read moreI wish there was a way to give them 0 stars. I walked in to this establishment at about 1105pm on 6/20/16. I was with my aunt and her friend. We were looking at the different pizzas for about 2 maybe 3 minutes before anyone said anything to us. Then a guy with glasses yells sorry ladies we are closed. We were confused because when we pulled up the sign said 10am-1am. We never looked at the bottom of the sign were it read carry out closes at 10pm. We understand if they were close but 1. The door was open 2. That should have been said when we walked in because there were 3 employee at the window( one was counting money, one was cleaning and the manager who said her name was Katrina Amaya was making a pizza ) 3. The guy counting the money was really rude he kept yelling ladies we are close and at one point as we stood there confused because the signage was not clear he said bye. As a manager and a customer this pissed me off. If anyone walked into my store and was treated this way I would be really upset and even embarrassed to say I was the manager after treating a customer like that. There was definitely a better way to express that they were close. We even went back in the store and asked for the manager name and said even replied make sure we tell corporate they we closed at 10. How can you be a a manger acting that way. Closed or open every customer should be treated with respect. I wish I was a secret shopper because I'm pretty sure they would have failed. They will not get my money. Dominos improved there pizza but forgot about their...
Read moreThis is usually my go-to spot because it's 5 minutes from my house. Carryout is usually pretty good but tonight, I ordered for delivery. TERRIBLE IDEA!! The delivery driver James called as he was pulling into my apartment complex to let me know he was here. My bf went down to my building door so that James would not have to walk up 4 floors to get to my door. Well he pulled up, sat in his car and beeped the horn. My bf didn't even know he was the delivery driver until he yelled out his car window asking if he ordered Domino's. Clearly irritated by my bf not walking out to his car, he got out of his car and carelessly gave my bf our order (which he almost made him drop) and turned around and left. I have a broken foot, live on the top floor and have no elevator in my building. What if my bf was not there to come downstairs!?! On top of that...my food was cold despite leaving the store 5 minutes earlier which raises the question of how long was my order just sitting there!?! I never tip thru apps, but always tip generously in cash when my order is delivered. Today....that $12.00 tip (on a $40 order), went right back in my bf pocket! The food quality was very disappointing and delivery service was extremely unprofessional! This is not the first issue I've had with this delivery driver but it will definitely be the last. It appears that instead of addressing these types of issues and retraining their employees on customer service and quality, they'd rather...
