Talking about huevos rancheros made me want breakfast for dinner. Also it's an opportunity to explain what this particular Don Pedro is in Hazel Dell because they're not all the same. As per the usual, I am the only non Mexican in here. The only time I hear English in here is if someone is talking to me. This place is a quintessential Mexican comfort food diner so to speak, so for most of you that would equate to something like a stardust diner or the Plainsman or just some place that has standard breakfast, lunch and dinner, but Mexican. You're not going to have some mind blowing foodie adventure. This is a family and working class oriented place that's cheap, flavorful and hits the spot. Even just now some lady was showing off a child and half the kitchen staff came out to see the baby in all the high pitched motherly sounds. By now many of you have probably heard about the breakfast burritos, but all of their breakfasts are great and they do a lot of Mexican comfort food diner things really well. Read moreI will say I went to this restaurant for dinner tonight with my brothers. I've been there before for lunch and it was pretty good a few months ago. So tonight the place was a filthy mess food on the floor the condiment table was dirty there's no heat in the place and only had like two floor heaters the bathroom the toilet did not work there was no paper towels and the hand drying machine did not work. We had our dinner which was not very hot tasted awful. This was a waste of money and time I will never ever go to this place again and I will not recommend it to anybody I was very disappointed. And the two women at the cash register were very rude. It has been three hours since I ate there and I experiencing a lot of gas stomach upset and will be contacting who I need to. A filthy restaurant, if you want to...
Read moreI came to this Don Pedro's location on 10/1/16. I ordered 4 chicken tacos and a large drink for a total of $8.08. (Including tax.) The same night, I check my banking account and I see a pending withdrawal for an even $20.00, coming out of my account from Don Pedro's on a separate transaction, right after the $8.08. Where is my money going? What the hell? I called them back the next business day and apparently no manager is working? Nothing can be done about an additional $20.00 coming from my account? Are the receipts that I sign being tampered with? Never again will I go to this location or a Don Pedro's again. I sure hope this was an honest mistake, but I may never know and could possibly be out $20.00 dollars of my hard earned money. If you come here, use cash... you've...
