Free Public Restroom — Restaurant in Washington

It gets two stars because it exists.

Theres only a couple of these in the entire mall and while putting miles on the feet, coming by one, is nothing short of amazing.

Nice of our nation to provide these, but, wish they were better maintained.

An entire stall was occupied by a homeless individual, who had there belongings spread out on the floor and was sleeping inside. A later stop by, confirmed this moreso, when I had walked in and they were bathing in the sink.

I've got empathy and for what it was, they were seemingly a nice individual, but makes for quite the uncomfortable situation.

Thinking the city needs more intervention, and daily cleaning...

Four restrooms in all of the Mall? Really? With thousands of people visiting the nation's many memorials the powers that be cannot afford to offer more than 4 lousy restrooms. One was out of commission, one was disgusting and out of only three stalls 2 were working. We can pay oodles of money for presidential holidays and rallies but can't offer the one basic necessity that everyone needs. How little we, the people, are worth....let's have a few of our representatives, senators or the big cheese himself stop by for a daily constitution and see how they like...

Only one operable toilet a clogged urinal and three toilets with plastic and feces covering them. Really National Parks service? The National Mall is already under serviced in the way of public bathrooms, and then some genius with the Department ofthe Interior decided to only leave one out of five already overused toilets usable, all to inforce a quasi social...
