Ladies, if you visit Lady Madison, make sure to ask for Erin!

I recently had the pleasure of meeting her, and she is truly exceptional. From the moment I approached the bar, Erin made me feel welcome. She took the time to listen to me, a complete stranger, for over an hour. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares, and Erin exemplifies that.

She crafted my drink perfectly—sparkling water with lime and plenty of cherries—while simultaneously managing a busy bar. There were six other clients to attend to, and she handled everything with impressive efficiency, all while keeping a warm smile on her face. I couldn’t help but notice the African American gentleman across from me, who seemed to be struggling to get the attention of a woman nearby. Despite the chaos of a packed bar filled with conference attendees, Erin remained composed and attentive to everyone’s needs.

Her ability to juggle multiple tasks, including cleaning and closing out tabs, showcased her incredible skill. It felt like she knew everyone personally, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made my experience even more enjoyable.

Erin, I want you to know that you’re doing an outstanding job. Your professionalism and charm truly set you apart. Without a doubt, you are one of the best bartenders in Washington, D.C. Boom,...

Overpriced hotel food, at its finest.

Having stayed at the Madison I was curious about the diner menu they had available, so on my second night staying I ordered room service. The menus are available via a QR code near the phones, which is convenient.

Ended up going with the lollipop chicken wings, penne pomodoro, and the cheese cake. Total come to a whooping $50+, and these are not family proportions mind you, this meal is clearly intended for a single person.

Then the quality must be the key, right? Honestly? No. The wings were so tiny, a couple bites a piece, and their flavor was no better than buffalo wings you can get from a wing bar at Market 32. The pasta was watered down and barely had a flavor of tomato, without any cheesy texture or punch. (despite the presence of cheese on it) And the cheese cake was clearly pulled from a freezer and thawed out, as it was crumbly and gritty, indications of freezer burn.

Clearly I've learned my lesson, if the hotel has a restaurant, and the prices seem exorbitant, then they likely are. This is clearly a "for the convenience" thing with some fancy handwaving. Don't be a sucker, just go out to any of the nearby restaurants for a better meal at more...

The food was absolutely incredible – every dish crafted by Chef David was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented, making it one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The service was equally outstanding, with every detail handled with care. I want to give a special mention to our waiter, Abdul. He was not only professional and attentive but also genuinely kind and warm, which made us feel so welcome. Abdul went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and his positive energy truly elevated the entire evening. He is absolutely wonderful and turned a great meal into an unforgettable experience. Chef David’s talent combined with Abdul’s amazing service made the night truly exceptional. Highly...

Happy #NationalDogDay! 🐾🐾♥️ . What would we do without our dogs?! Seriously, life is just infinitely better with dogs! It’s hard for me to leave my pups for even one night, which is why I’m so grateful that @themadisonhoteldc is pet-friendly! We had an epic family stayover last weekend and my two pooches had the best time exploring the city and being treated like VIPs! From the warm and friendly welcome by name (!), my babies enjoyed the plush dog bed and we appreciated the water bowls already placed in our room! #TheMadisonHotel is a beautiful boutique style hotel with a gorgeous, light filled lobby, and chic lounge, known as the #ladymadison which is available for drinks and dinner.🍸 There’s also a grab & go coffee shop called Market Place, that was so convenient - and even had a delicious hot breakfast buffet! @themadisonhoteldc is a total gem, perfect for a family stay, a couples trip, and/or a friends getaway! Best of all #themadisonhotel is now a part of the @marriottbonvoy loyalty program, so guests can earn and redeem points for stays! Pro Tip - I highly recommend booking a room with a terrace. We felt on top of the world and in total luxury in our suite! The city views from our terrace were awesome, and we loved being able to enjoy our private outdoor space above the hustle and bustle. . . . . . . #themadisonhoteldc #dchotels #wheretostayindc #dcluxuryhotel #dcluxury #suitewithterrace #roomwithaviewplease #rooftopterraceroom #dctravel #petfriendlyhotel #dogswelcome #dctravelblogger #dcstaycation #boutiquehotels @zpublicrelations #bestplacetostayindc @marriotthotels #marriottbonvoy #bonvoygoldelite @thedcbloggers #thedcbloggers #dcbloggers #dcfashionblogger #dclifestyleblogger #dmvfashionblogger #dmvlifestyleblogger #northernvafashionblogger #northernvalifestyleblogger #fashiontravelbeautyluxe #occasionallyluxetravels
