Last week, I took my two children there (reluctantly) after school for a snack. It took more than 15 minutes for 4 chicken nuggets and small fries and orange juice. We were eating in, and the employee who brought our items to the table pretty much threw the tray on the table. My children’s ‘thank you’ was ignored. This week, we were late to ballet (@washington school of ballet), which is across the street. I pulled into the McD parking lot & took my child across the street dropped her at the door and came right back (2 min max); an employee was there with parking enforcement. I told her I had just dropped my child and I was heading in to the McD. Her response was ‘He already wrote the ticket, honey’ (!!!). The ticket was for $250. I get they don’t want parents camping in that small lot, and she saw me carrying my child across the street. However, she did not wait to see if I was coming right back, perhaps to get something in her establishment. If my car was frequently noticed in the lot during ballet times, I would get it. This is absolutely the first time ever I have parked in that lot to escort my child to class. So, not only has the service time tanked since the renovation, and the employees lack basic civility, but they are very unfriendly to their consumers (pretty sure we aren’t the only ballet family who goes to that McDs). I will not ever go to this location. It is not much of a loss, since McDs food is unhealthy and not very good, but it was a convenience. I will remind all the other TWSB families to avoid...
Read moreI've been frequenting the Mickey D's at 4130 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington, DC 20016 (at Van Ness) for 13 years. For the most part, the staff is great. But, when they call out the order numbers, they yell it straight at the waiting customers at the counter. The staffs' voices are shrill and very loud, and they leave us with ringing ears. The cook staff cannot, for some reason, get that plain means p-l-a-i-n - no cheese, no usual stuff, just meat and bun. I have to return my order a minimum of 3 times before it's right. Truly, the management and trainers and counter staff need to get one description of plain and stay with it. Next, the cola syrup-to-water mix is all off and the regular cokes dispense as brown water, flavorless and sad. Most important, several issues have remained unresolved including painting the curb at the entry door from the parking lot with "caution yellow paint" as it used to be years ago. At that 6 foot length of curb, the height gradually increases and, because of this, last February 6th I fell on the curb, falling and fracturing 4 ribs. I was out of work for 4 weeks. I tried reporting it at the counter right away, asking for a manager. No manager came out. No employee completed an accident report. I had to go to the emergency room and no one helped me. I checked several days in a row, but still no one would help me. As a result, I don't go there anymore. And no attorney would take this case because "there isn't enough in it for us" each one told me. Welcome to...
Read moreTOTAL DISASTER 24/7 I don't really understand what happens at this place every time you're here you see one order be delivered about every four minutes to a person and there's always a dozen people standing around waiting for their food. Sometimes it can take you 15 minutes to get breakfast I can get this kind of service at Chick-fil-A for God's sake. Lunch is absolutely no better, as I write this I have been waiting 14 minutes for a Chicken sandwich, at lunch. How can you possibly make money this way? What are you doing and what is going on that you cannot deliver a fast food meal in less than 15 minutes?????? Please I would really really like to know. It's like they continually take orders but no one actually gets delivered food I do not know what they are in back doing all day? Are they just always making Uber orders and sneaking them out the back so all the customers in store can't see that they're being pushed to the back of the line? They recently rehabilitated this place and the one thing they didn't change which they should have changed was the fountain soda machine, all the coke does not taste like coke is supposed to taste. Somebody should report this place to Coca-Cola international because they are ruining the brand. In short in this area of DC Northwest you don't have a lot of fast food options and McDonald's knows it so they allow this place to be operated like an absolute steaming heep of trash, and laugh all the way to the bank while they take...
