Massage Therapy Healing Touch — Local services in Washington

About 2 months ago, Healing Touch Massage was recommended to me by a friend who has been using their services for sometime.

I have frequented other physical therapists to alleviate back pain and stressed up neck from poor working posture and long hours. Although, it did the job most of the time, I have never felt better than since I’ve been using Valerie’s services.

Valerie’s therapy sessions have truly transformed my physical well-being. In years of using massage/therapist services, I have not met her combination of professionalism, patience and understanding of human physiology. After just two sessions, the recalcitrant knot and nabbing back pain that I’ve been carrying for so many years had magically improved; and the relief makes me feel almost like a new person. I can again enjoy life without my back pain reminding itself to me day and night.

I was also touched by Valerie’s care and consideration that extended beyond her massage sessions, with advice and recommendations on how to proactively incorporate into my daily life habits and reminders that would target the source of my back pain.

I’m just so glad and lucky to have been introduced to Valerie, and I can say that I’m positively hooked. My experience with Healing Touch Massage has been transformative; and I wanted to take the time to thank their staff, and also to give the opportunity to others to experience the relief...

I've worked with lots of massage therapists over the years, but none of them were as good as Valerie has been. I've been a regular customer since 2018 and can't imagine being happy with anyone else after Valerie. Her business is well-named--hers is truly a healing touch--and that matters greatly to a senior citizen such as myself. She knows how to wipe away the aches and pains of an aging body with the expertise of a true professional. But regardless of your age, I highly recommend this wonderful healer.

Part of me doesn't want to post this review for fear Valerie will become so popular that I will not get regular appointments with her! While I only just had my first-ever massage with Valerie at Healing Touch (in Northwest DC), it is definitely not my last. I've had a lot - and I mean a lot - of massages in my life and literally in different cities, states and even countries. And I've had a lot of back pain to boot (so bad it required surgery at one point). I walked out of Valerie's massage studio feeling like a very relaxed, flexible, happy rag doll. She is amazing.
