Brand new spot so we’ll have to give it time to see how it shapes up. Fantastic service: our table host was Ari who was super knowledgeable about the new menu on the second day we visited after the restaurant opened. There is a decent selection of food options which was reasonably priced and liked the dishes we tried (portions and quality). They are definitely eager to get feedback at this stage. We’ll return to taste more of the menu as it evolves. We were also informed that they would also start serving brunch in several weeks so we are curious about that menu once it launches. There is a speakeasy atmosphere inside inclusive with a piano at the other end presumably for some performances in the near future. The interior transports you to another place and time. There is a dress code which is enforced by security at the entrance so be prepared for that.
There is a lot of potential in the restaurant and its story is definitely one to watch over the...
Read moreI Love Proper Bar! I had dinner here on Saturday October 18th at 6:30 pm. When me and my party arrived we were greeted by Will and the Hostess and it was a very warm and friendly welcoming. The Ambiance is out of this world its definitely gives Miami vibes very grown and sexy. We got seated immediately upon arriving and our waitress Ari took excellent care of us. Ari was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave excellent recommendations for cocktails, appetizers, entrees and desserts. We order the Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Patata Braves, Chicken & Caviar, Citrus Cured Hamachi, Wild Mushroom & Beef Tortellini, Proper Bar Burger & Tiger Prawn. All of these dishes were cooked to perfection. Very Flavorful and Savory. Shoutout to the chef Felipe & Miguel. The Staff were amazing Sam, Daniel & Will all came to check in to see how experience was going. Thank you Proper Bar for your hospitality. 10/10 Highly...
Read moreStopped by with two friends to try this brand-new restaurant. The hostess seated me, one friend went to the bathroom, and in that brief moment the bouncer decided he was “too drunk” to enter — despite zero signs of intoxication and the fact that he had just walked in. No one told me anything while I sat at the table. No explanation, no apology — just my friend being denied entry for reasons that exist only in their imagination. We went to another restaurant down the street, where he miraculously regained the ability to… eat dinner like a normal adult. For a place that just opened, the combination of poor judgment, nonexistent communication, and weird power-trip energy is honestly impressive. Maybe train staff to distinguish “drunk” from “used...
