It's beginning to become a habit with you...Sandlot Sundays kinda has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?

Two Sundays ago, I landed there by somewhat happenstance, on a solo mission. I ended up grabbing some food, and a drink and enjoying the fresh air and good vibes (plus great music). The Sunday, thereafter, I walked there with a friend and we enjoyed some good drinks and great company of strangers and familiar faces of owners "Scooty" and Ian. The festivities ended with new stranger friends getting a round of shots--definitely Sunday Funday for sure. As I get older, service and a Cheers vibe where people" know your name, and they're always glad you came" are a must for me. Sandlot has it all.

The extra plus is their signature cocktails are made with Turning Natural cold pressed juices, so you can feel good while you sip knowing that you are balancing libations with a nutritious and tasty mixers. I love the Yellow made with tequila. I may even make an appearance at Georgetown this weekend to celebrate the opening of their second location.

Visited Sandlot with some friends yesterday and truly enjoyed it! We booked the ReOpen experience that came with unlimited cold pressed cocktails as well as a tailgate platter. We added the staycation platter to our order since we knew we'd be hungry. Both the food and drinks were amazing and i'm looking forward to going back! The space is easy to access, ample parking in the area, and its a cool place to just meet up with friends and chill. Our server made our experience great as she was super attentive, went out of her way to get us whatever we needed, and she was genuinely a sweet person. I truly appreciated that Sandlot Southeast is black owned all the vendors used are black...

Mannnnnnnnn, I love this place!!! It’s unique, outside, comfortable, in the city but, out the way!!! I could go on and on. They have these cold pressed drinks that I love!!! The tequila one is so bomb. The bartenders are cool, the owners are cool. I mean there’s nothing left for me to say. I look forward to visiting the Georgetown space since we can officially go...
