This is my favorite place to eat in Adam's Morgan by a longshot.

For breakfast I recommend the Lox on Everything Bagel or the Western Omelet on Everything Bagel. The Lox is obviously more expensive but it still comes out to less than ten dollars which is a steal. The Western Omelet is like five or six dollars.

For lunch I recommend the Bronx Pastrami or if you want something cheaper I'd go for the BLT. You can pick what type of bread you want. I like the rye for the pastrami and the sub roll for most other sandwiches. They have a lot of different types of chips.

I don't see many people buying groceries but they do have an assortment of interesting products, mostly foreign goods. They also have a fridge for any beverages you might be interested in. Sodas, coconut waters, vitamin waters etc.

It's not very obvious but you can (and should) buy some coffee. You can't order a latte or anything like that but you can get coffee or iced coffee with milk/cream in it. It's like a dollary fifty or something for a large. The place smells of coffee because they sell a bunch of different types of coffee by weight. The minimum you can buy I think is a half-pound.

It's a take-out restaurant mostly with a few grocery items so there's not any seating inside.

Two things to remember are: They only accept cash. Which personally I think is great. The credit card companies shouldn't get 2% of their profits when it's hard enough for a restaurant to survive. It's closed on wednesdays.

The cashiers are not chatty and they cut to the chase which I...

I visited the establishment for a cold sandwich and unfortunately, I experienced extremely poor treatment from the Asian individual (whom I assume was the manager). He yelled, cursed, and screamed at me, accusing me of being difficult and complaining too much. This was not my first visit, as I usually come with my colleagues. I was unaware that they heat or toast all bagel sandwiches, as I have never had mine heated before. When asked if I wanted it cold or hot, I assumed it would resolve any confusion. However, he grabbed the sandwich so forcefully that I felt his nails scratch my skin. When I questioned his behavior, he continued to curse at me. I wish I had recorded his actions when I returned the sandwich for a remake, as his comments were unacceptable. AT this point i did ask for my money witch was handed to me rudely. I said to myself maybe this isn't a place for black folks seeing how he interacted with my group of 2 This discriminatory behavior is completely unacceptable.TO SIT AND EMBRASS ME OVER NOT WANTING TO TAKE A HOT SANDWITCH I PAID FOR...

Excellent choice while in DC. The bagel and locks, and the corned beef and pastrami egg and cheese on everything bagel was absolutely fantastic!

I see some others left 1-star reviews in regards to staff being negative. I mean, the title of this shop has "So's Your Mom"! C-mon! They're just yankin your chain before you even walk inside :) Live a little, am I wrong? Laughter is the best medicine.

Food was awesome. Don't come in if you're too uptight, so, get your momma to pick up your order from here after...

I come to this place every single day, the young men or a lady always helps me out and I loved coming here. Today however, the owner got attitude with me, started yelling at me and was extremely rude and mean, yelling as I am his little daughter or something. He did not apologized and just tried to kick me out of the place as he could not get my order right… I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN, HOW CAN YOU BE A BUSINESS OWNER AND TREAT YOUR REGULARS LIKE COMPLETE TRASH!!!!! I would give zero stars if possible

I stopped by and tried a ham, egg, cheese on an everything bagel and it was very good. The bagel had a good crunch without it being too chewy. Definitely one of the best bagels/bagel sandwiches in DC. I look forward to coming back and trying out their other sandwiches. All their sandwiches are affordable and less than $10. It is cash only but there are conveniently two ATMs right next door.
