I thought I'd give this place a try since it's near my work and I have a gift card. Right away it was the least cozy Starbucks I have ever entered, but I was just planning to carry out so that didn't matter. What did annoy me was the service. The guy who took my order obviously didn't understand what pastry I wanted and he didn't try to clarify either. I would have happily clarified if he had tried repeating my order or pointing to what he thought I wanted, but instead he just nodded in a bored way so I thought he got it. Unfortunately they brought me the wrong thing. I said, "Hmm, this isn't mine, I don't know who ordered this," but they ignored me. After my drink came out I asked if I could get my pastry. The one lady talked to the guy who rang me out and came back to tell me that that wasn't what I was rung out with. I asked which one cost more, willing to pay the difference if mine was more but suspecting based on the items that it wasn't. She told me, "Don't worry, I'm just going to get you one." As if she was doing me a big favor. I checked the prices on the way out and the item I received was less expensive than the one I was charged for. The difference wasn't huge and I just left at that point, but I was annoyed at the implication that they had done me a big favor.
1.) Please listen to your customers and clarify if you are not sure what they want.
2.) Please do not act like you are doing a customer a big favor by giving them a cheaper item for the same price.
I also want to mention that the Starbucks was not busy AT ALL when I was there, there were three customers total in the location. All of this would have been more understandable in a rush.
This is also the least cozy looking Starbucks I have ever entered.
But the drink and the...
Read moreThis was one of the most pleasant Starbucks locations I've been to in a while. I was expecting the store to be overcrowded given the "novelty" of the location, but I was able to find a seat without any problem. The line did get long at times, but it moved quickly. It was also incredibly clean (though, I didn't use the restrooms).
The baristas were all incredibly friendly. There was a bit of a communication barrier as I don't speak ASL fluently, but I knew enough to get by without using the writing tablets. Despite fumbling over my fingerspelling, things worked out.
My favorite thing about the store was that it was quiet. There was the hum of people talking amongst their tablemates and the sound of blenders and milk steamers, of course, but there was NO background music. So many Starbucks stores play their music so loudly that I can't hear my own show/music through my headphones unless I turn the volume up full blast. So, going to a Starbucks without music blasting at 80+dB (I have measured it) was refreshing.
The only downside to the visit (other than the fact that it's too far to visit regularly- I was stopping in on my back up to NJ after a trip to visit VA) was that there were no Signing Store...

Sense the moment I step inside the store she said huh I can’t hear you so I spoke louder so she can hear me but her attitude was not it then I proceeded to paying and went to the other side to wait for my order and everyone was getting there order. You know I get it there busy so I waited but it was taking long and I thought to my self maybe you never know they forgot let me ask so I asked the young lady excuse me I haven’t gotten my breakfast burrito she said again huh I can’t hear you really rudely and I spoke up and I said it again she said well it’s not done yet ! And she rolled her eyes so I didn’t say anything anymore and 3 min later I get my breakfast burrito she didn’t apologize for the delay nothing I’m so disappointed I love going there because there always so nice but this young lady is not good for...
