My coffee pot recently died do I decided until I replace it I'd pop into the nearby Starbucks in the dafeway for a grande medium roast black coffee. There were only 2 people in front of me and 3 people working so I figured this will be quick. Well the first customer got served and for about 8 minutes it was obvious this was a regular customer because all the batista chatted with him. Then one server was making a drink and the other server waited on the customer in front of me. She was bringing her drink back because it was not right. The young lady who I assumed was the manager told her she would fix it as soon as she washed her hands. So now it's my turn. But the server who was making a drink decided to help the manager redo the drink. In the meantime I'm still waiting to be at least acknowledged but not until the manager told her she didn't need help and to wait on me. When she finally came over to wait on me she was drinking the drink she had been making and talking on her phone. When she finally took my order she never put the phone down. I made a comment but she just put the phone in her picket but kept on talking. So my quick trip ended up being 20 mins. So I gave it another try today and they had 4 people working and the service was worst. Seems they spend a lot of time redoing customers drinks and socializing. I know this is not a time for people to lose jobs but maybe they just need some customer service training or perhaps I just need to try a...

My order was take by a girl named Deja (I only know because I asked after the craziness...no one had on name tags) while she stared at me without imputing anything into the computer while I order then repeated questioned everything I just said several times. She was very unpleasant and rude. After she finally input my order she went to make my drink only to stand there and stare for several seconds and then walk from behind the counter and to the seating area to a woman in locs and said “ion know what I’m doing” locs said “well what u trying to do” “...make a drink” “what kinda drink!?” “...ah strawberry ....something!” So they both go behind the counter and dread lady begin to make my drink completely disregarding the special instructions so I say “excuse me” she look at me and say “what’s wrong with it” I requested light ice”. She completely disregard what I say and continue making the drink. Moments later she turn around and hand me a 1/2 empty cup. I ask why is it not full “cause u want light ice. The rest of the drink is ice! If u want more drank it’s gonna be $.30!” I ALWAYS order light ice and I have NEVER walked away with a 1/2 of a drink!! I paid the extra cents and she turned around, picked up the pitcher of water and poured it in my cup!! I was completely upset but this is clearly a matter I wouldn’t win. First time the excuse was they ran out of coffee and forgot to stock up, the second time it was the filters. And when i told the manager we were in a Safeway, maybe some coffee filters off the shelf might help solve her problem she got angry and loud with me. Not even a 'sorry' about it to make me feel a little better, its as if they didnt even care. Horrible customer service! And yes i was pissed, i had to drive out if my way and pay for parking to come to this location. My last time here. Oh.. with only two people working there, you have one staff member taking orders and making the drinks while the other employee is just chilling on his phone outside of the counter not paying any attention to the customers in line.
