I am writing to share a disappointing experience at your Southwest location today. As a consistent customer who visits two to three times a week, I was surprised by the lack of professionalism from the manager on duty.
When I requested a refund for a drink that was not made well, and informed the manager the refund did not go to the correct card, he responded, “I don’t know what you want me to do for you.” Not only did this reflect a lack of knowledge, but his tone and body language also showed clear agitation and unwillingness to help. At no point was I offered a solution, compensation, or even an acknowledgment of the inconvenience.
Ultimately, I ended up paying nearly $20 for a sandwich that costs $9 because the manager refused to refund the card charge. This is unacceptable, especially from someone in a leadership role. If a manager cannot think creatively or demonstrate customer care in problem-solving, then the position may not be a good fit.
I have always enjoyed frequenting this location, but the manager’s behavior has made me feel unwelcome. If this is the type of service to be expected when he is present, I will unfortunately need to reconsider where I take my business.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and addressed, as I would like to continue being a...
Read moreI live near here and come a lot. Delicious food and donuts and nice staff, but there’s a consistent problem where every single time I order anything to go, no one tells me when it’s done. I order coffee? I sit around waiting for a half an hour til I go up and ask and it was sitting there the whole time. My partner and I go in and order sandwiches? Same thing. It’s not a sometimes problem—it’s EVERY TIME I go in and don’t just grab a donut and leave or get food to stay. Any to go order it’s 100% guaranteed that the order will just sit there and no one will call my name or my partners name or otherwise alert us at all. Ive never had this problem anywhere else but it’s an extraordinarily common occurrence here. Literally every. Single. Time. Am I supposed to stand at the counter asking “is it ready yet” every 30 seconds? Genuinely tell me how to get my food without waiting around like an idiot after it’s prepared! I don’t want to stop coming here. The food is yummy. The people are nice.
Edit a month later: you still need to watch the counter like a hawk and if they do call your name, it’s a whisper. Very...
Read moreI'm writing this review with great reluctance. The staff, including Shauna, Will, and many others, are truly exceptional and have made this place feel like a second home. However, I've noticed a disturbing trend lately: the bar frequently runs out of common alcoholic beverages.
I've witnessed the bar staff take inventory and submit their findings to management, only to see the bar remain understocked days later. This is not only frustrating but also troubling to see the staff we love struggling to meet our basic needs.
To make matters worse, we've just learned that another valuable employee is leaving. This is clearly a systemic issue with upper management, and I implore someone to take this seriously and address the root cause.
I want to emphasize that the problem lies NOT with the hardworking, friendly bar staff, but with the management's inability to support them. I hope that someone will take this review to heart and make the necessary changes to restore this establishment to its...
