Amazing food, but the service is so bad. I ordered the Fajita box online and said it was ready to pick up after 30 minutes . Once i got to the window to pick up, the person told me that my order wasn't ready and to wait and just ignored me. After 15 min of me waiting there, I asked again, and the same person rudely responed, " Your order is gonna take 20 more minutes." Didn't explain why or what happened. Tried to asked and then again, I was ignored. I don't know why they would send me that. It was ready when it wasn't. The fact of me waiting an additional 40 minutes after the 30 min ordered, and they sending me the email that was ready it was upsetting. I saw how other people orders were going in and out with their food. I worked in the restaurant service business, and sometimes there are mistakes, and it can happen to anyone. But they didn't explain or try to tell me why it took so long. And after the 1 hour and 10 min that took the food to be cooked. They gave me the food again rudely and ignored me again. I tried to ask for plates, and nothing. We had to eat from the napkins since we were just pasing by the Wharf. I am so disappointed with the service there. Even the food is great. It is just a thing to consider if you are planning to order ahead when you have a busy schedule. You may end up being late or miss your appointment, plus you won't enjoy the food much when you are upset about...

Go eat at Taco Bomba. They have 8 locations around DC. Here is my justification. I was in search of a good taco place around DC. I ate at this location three times before I found taco Bamba. Don’t get me wrong it taste good but it’s not worth $17. It literally cost $17 for 2 tacos. You have to be crazy to eat at this place. The cherry on top is they also charge for salsa. The lady at the window tried to sell me on their bottles of hot sauces, which is completely different than salsa. 😐 Taco Bamba literally has salsa included with the price of the tacos and you get to choose between 4 different options…. No extra charge. (A mini salsa bar). If you’re a local and have money to burn it’s not worth. I can literally get four tacos for the same price at $17 at taco bomba. Also taco Bamba has a bar if that matters. Go eat at Surfside if you are not smart. (Sidenote, the first time I went to surfside, I got four tacos…..$34. The most I’ve ever eaten in one sitting at taco Bamba was seven...

I would leave ZERO STARS if I could. They charged me for food they DID NOT GIVE ME. I asked them for the food that I did not get. When I asked management to get the food I PAID for, they said I was lying and that they gave me the food. I told them they could check the security cameras to verify and they threatened to call the police on me. I told them they could call the police since the footage should show that they did not give me what I ordered. When I said that they said I should leave because they would not deal with me. I cannot believe that I was charged for so much food that was not given to me. The manager on duty on 7.27 around 2am was rude and did not want to work with me. She said she wasn’t going to check the cameras and would have me removed. I paid a significant amount of money to not receive any food. What a terrible time to end the night in such a way. They should replace management and staff with one that can...

Grabbed this togo as we were walking around the wharf cherry blossom festival - the Bloomaroo. We ordered the negril tacos (blackened mahi mahi) and added on a birria taco just to try. A little on the pricer side (18 dollars for 3 tacos), but easy to eat on the go, and portion size was just the right amount to get us to dinner! Wish they had indicated in the menu that it came with rice, but that was also a welcome surprise! I preferred the flavor kick of the negril a bit more. The negril had a complex flavor profile with spicy, sour, and savory along with the creaminess that came from the avocado! It was delicious! The birria needed more spice and it looked like the shell hadn't been fried in birria oil, but it was crispy! Overall, pretty decent, and quick service. Also lovely decor! I loved all the license plates of different states (not american)!

Went here on an evening date and it was nice experience. Food - honestly the individual tacos are a bit over priced for myself but they sounded delicious off of the menu. My date and I had the burritos and they were tasty. I had the shrimp burrito and it was so good. Big fresh shrimp and nice bits of zucchini crunch too. Fresh ingredients and a fancy small salad too! Service - super respectful staff and fairly quick service too. No complaints. Vibe/Aesthetic - California surf shake vibe. It just felt casual, fun and nautical to me. I would go back for the fresh food but I would not try the tacos because of the prices were high in my opinion.

Ordered the shrimp quesadilla and twizz ordered the shrimp tacos and let me tell you; phenomenal. The tender shrimp meat paired with the tropical pineapple fruit, sour cream, crispy tortillà and queso drenched between the layers took me back to the islands. Had a juicy pineapple drink too (hadda get the taste up 😏bless) was very sweet. Tropical OVERLOAD. Was originally gonna go to the middleastern kebab place in the wharf but was closed for pride month. Glad it was because I would not able to experience this island cuisine. 10/10
