Teriyaki Delight — Restaurant in Washington

Although I have dined at Teriyaki Delight in years past, I happen to be in that area and figure I would re-try their food again; in fact, I'm not sure if this little cafe was named Teriyaki Delight the last time I dined there three or four years ago. As I walked in, I noticed that it had gone through an update at some point, and everything looked clean, bright, and new, and not dated and drab.

The gentleman that was working in front wasn't too chatty but friendly enough and polite!

Teriyaki Delight had an excellent selection of Teriyaki and Teriyaki combos; It had an exceptional selection of Chinese Wok entrees as well. And I can't leave out a very nice selection of fried rice, yakisoba, sides, and appetizers, for those who love Sushi, they offered that as well! I felt like they offer something for everyone.

I was craving egg rolls, so this was an easy choice to make; they offer two pork and veggie egg rolls for $4.58.

I headed to my car to eat them; I figured I was parked and a little hungry. The first thing I noticed, the egg rolls looked to be a decent size and perfect in color-golden brown! The egg rolls had a nice little crunch to them and not a soggy feeling, and the taste was fresh and savory, and these didn't leave behind an oily residue like some I have had in past years, you know the type where you feel as though you need a roll of paper towels because one or two napkins won't suffice?! The eggrolls came with a couple of sweet and sour sauce; I prefer my eggrolls straight up or with hot mustard; I know a lot of people love sweet and sour with their egg rolls, but I passed on that taste.

Teriyaki Delights location is at 9989 Silverdale Way NW STE C, Silverdale, WA. in the Silverdale Towne Center across from the old Sears Building-Kitsap Mall and behind Panera. Teriyaki Delight shares a parking lot with several businesses located in this mini-mall, including Big 5 sporting goods, Panera Bread, Arby's, and many more. The area can become congested depending on the time of day.

The bottom line is, I think it would be a shame if you didn't try Teriyaki Delight at least once; I am excited to try something else on the menu, like maybe their teriyaki????

I asked for a welong done chicken teriyaki dinner, I got chicken fried rice. With out looking inside I asked what about the salad, his response was you don't get salad with chicken fried rice, I said, I didn't order chicken fried rice, he took off to start my order and because he fixed me chicken fried rice, I asked him do you even know what I want, he said "yes" .. knowing I was not going to get my dinner well done, I waited until I got home to open it. OK so it's not well done and I don't have white steamed rice, again I have chicken fried rice. ... so I called. .. he knew I was upset when I told him... I know the chicken is done but I asked for my chicken to be well done. He apologizedid and when I asked why wasn't I suppose to get steamed rice, he said well.. yes but if the think about yougot an upgrade. I told him. .. I don't want chicken fired rice I wanted steamed rice.... he gave up at that point and asked, what would you like me to do. When I order a Teriyaki chicken dinner I expect steamed rice. And he said OK and I said, you have a good evening. Now I have to make steamed rice and cook my chicken so that it's well done. I've had a long day,...

I have recently heard from the managers of this restaurant that the management changed back in May of 2023. If you are looking to support a small business, this is the spot!

The food is exquisite! I ordered a spicy katsu and it was DELICIOUS! They can adjust the spice level on the meal for those who can’t handle spice or can even take on the heat🔥

The customer service here was excellent! The beautiful waitress gave me many suggestions for me to try. The chef inside the kitchen was super kind enough to give us free honey garlic chicken on the house for just trying their food/coming to the restaurant❤️

The menu can be overwhelming because there’s so many options! But the recommendations and the food itself is just great, no regrets!
