Went for my first tattoo removal appointment with Flora but ended up walking out before anything was done. Flora is extremely rude and doesn't know how to communicate properly with people. As she was walking me and my husband back she said that she would need to take a photo of me, i assumed it was of the tattoo which of course i expected, but she said it needs to be my face too. I said I wasn't prepared for that could i skip that, I never refused i just simply asked if I could skip it. She immediately acted weird and confused like she's never had anyone ask that. Once we got in the room she had an attitude the whole time after. My husband asked her a question about a different type laser for toenails and she said that they dont have it but cavalon asthetics does, well I've been going there for a while now and I know that they dont have that laser, so i mentioned that they used to have it a few years ago but they dont anymore, she quickly looked up at my husband and said im pretty sure they still have that laser, which was rude considering i just mentioned i go there and I know that they dont. She then asked me if I filled out the paperwork that was needed before the appointment which was online and I told her that I tried several times and that the link wouldn't open up for me so I couldn't. My husband then mentioned could they use my driver's license picture instead of a photo today right now with no preparation and she said no without any explanation. She could have simply asked me if I would be willing to take my picture on my next visit or even to re schedule my appointment and my answer would have been yes because I just had eyelid surgery and my eyelid is very red and swollen and I felt uncomfortable to have my picture taken without being prepared, which I would think they would understand since they are in the beauty/skin industry. After she said no to the driver's license without any explanation she then rudely said it says it in the email we sent you that you would have to have a photo, I then told her again I couldn't open that email, the link wouldn't work, which is why I also couldn't fill out the forms beforehand. Flora made absolutely no attempt to try and fix the situation or even ask simple questions which would have easily solved things she just had an attitude the second I said I wasn't prepared for the photo. Then she just said okay well here's the paperwork to fill out and left the room. Even my husband who never has a problem with anyone was like what's wrong with her, why is she so irritated. She then came back in the room and said i think you have an issue with me so im not going to perform this service, which is totally her right. The problem is she was the one who was rude the entire time and not explaining things properly. She is not someone who should be working with the public if she cant even communicate properly or even just be nice. Then the owner came in and basically did nothing but just say her employee wasn't rude, even though she wasn't there in the room witnessing her employee's rude demeanor with me and my husband. I explained the same thing to her that I couldn't open the email to see that a face photo needed to be taken so I could prepare myself, after having eyelid surgery and my eye looking weird I just wasn't prepared, she also never even asked if I would be willing to re schedule the photo or appointment again just no attempt to work with me or resolve the situation. Its just bad business practice. I was caught off guard by the photo but I was never rude or mean to anyone. They need to to learn to do the same especially running a business. So just know you'll be getting a photo before your appointment if they don't tell you and if your unfortunate enough to get Flora and she has an attitude that day, the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdating review in response to Admireās response: my results always last 3-4 months with doses Iāve been getting for the last 15 years. Myself and others donāt need the maximum dosage and requiring someone to have the max amount is unethical on many levels. Lastly, charging your clients for the max amount regardless of what they are asking for and need, is extremely concerning. Your profit will benefit, but youāre doing something that isnāt right and youāve received this feedback from others as well. Just because you can, doesnāt mean you should. I hope you dig deeper and think through this from another lens.
I have been meaning to give Admire a review for a while now, as Iāve been coming here for the last year and I love their services. I love Karen and I love all the wonderful people that work at this place. However, I unfortunately have to leave a one star review after my experience today. I came in for my regular Botox and was told that they treat āareasā now v. giving you the units needed wherever you need them. Therefore, my price would almost be tripled, at a minimum it wouldāve been $800 for one session. I typically donāt pay more than $325. The reasoning here is because Karen wants to give the maximum amount allowed by the FDA. While I understand this, I donāt think it provides flexibility that her clients would like to have, nor do all of us want to have the maximum amount allowed injected into our faces for various reasons. I felt as a long-standing customer that this was a way to just get more money and it didnāt feel ethical to me. I decided to leave my appointment, and although I wasnāt charged for the appointment, it was a complete waste of my time and I shouldāve been informed of this change given the significance of it. Iāll be going back to my other lady that does a great...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently visited Admire Aesthetic after seeing their special ad on Instagram for 20 units of Botox at $183. While the staff is nice, my experience was extremely disappointing due to the lack of transparency regarding pricing. During my consultation, the technician mentioned she would be working on both sides but never indicated that she would use more than the advertised 20 units. At no point was I informed that the price would be higher.
When it came time to check out, I was shocked to see the total was $429āmore than double the advertised price! This was the first time I was made aware of the increased cost, and I was even prompted to leave a tip on top of the unexpectedly high bill. When I expressed my surprise, the technician simply apologized but didnāt offer any explanation for the lack of clear communication.
My main issue is that if the charge is going to be more than double, it absolutely needs to be communicated beforehand so that I can approve the cost prior to the injection. That did not happen at any point during my visit. While the staff is pleasant, not being upfront about pricing before treatments is unacceptable. Whether this is a training issue or something else, thereās a basic standard called truth in advertising that should be adhered to. I should have been clearly advised of any price increase before the treatment was administered. Needless to say, I wonāt be returning to Admire Aesthetic, and I cannot recommend them based on...
