We came here to eat 12/31/24. This was our final stop after our first family vacation from NJ to FL by car. We had just driven from NC to VA and decided The Cheesecake Factory is that good we must stop and experience together as a family! Oddly 12/31 it was torrential rain outside and that really paid off for us because the restaurant was at 50% capacity instead of the expected 100% full on wait list. That in itself was awesome because we did not eat all day and stopped at 5:30pm. My daughter did not like her tropical smoothie. I did though. My kids enjoyed grilled cheese and french fries from the kids menu then enjoyed Vanilla ice cream for dessert. I had the Veggie burger melt, sweet potato fries, and the Korean BBQ cauliflower appetizer, my partner ate Shrimp and Chicken Bistro Pasta. Everybody loved the food. Our server was great. Her name started with the letters EL. She had an accent and was on point. The HUGE letdown to this meal and stop was the dessert. My partner talked for 3 days about the Peanut Butter Cheesecake he will eat when we leave Florida and stop in VA. For my birthday my friend took me to Cheesecake Factory and I brought him a piece of cheesecake. He has been dreaming of eating it again. Anyway we finish eating and the big question comes. Would anybody like dessert? My bf immediately says “yes please Peanut Butter cheesecake.” The server steps off to come back right away. “ sir I am sorry we do not have any PB cheesecake it is frozen solid how about Snickers?” I could tell my man was depressed as hell in disbelief. He did not want the Snickers but I said yes. That Snickers cheesecake was not all that. In fact the Snicker bar piece was stale on top. It was not fresh and I could taste it. The other issue is the kids Vanilla was served with a mountain of whipped cream. My daughter does not like the cream. We spent $152 and sadly left unfulfilled because of the cheesecake scenario. In the next coming weeks I plan to call my local NJ CF and see if they carry the PB cheesecake. I would like to buy one for my man he deserves it and I know he is still craving it. That is just him he likes to eat what he is desiring. This was no reflection of the server in anyway. I doxxed one star bc of this situation. We drove from VA to NJ and that cheesecake was talked about the whole way. How could this gave happened on a major holiday at 6:30-7:00? There was another hig table requesting that cheesecake as well. You lost money because of a cheesecake variety you got to do better! The opening or closing manager should be checking if stock is pulled to defrost or not. This might seem stupid to some people but I swear my partner was upset and days later he is still chasing...
Read moreI went for the first time ever with my family to celebrate my little sister's graduation. Our server Sara was really nice. The wait time is the only problem. We ordered sodas to drink and it took about 15 minutes for them to arrive to the table, we also ordered a cocktail that took about 25 minutes for it to come out as well and when we got it, it was just not what we where expecting. Sara was really sweet and nice in changing the cocktail for a peach bellini, but again, it took forever for it to arrive.
Food wise, we got the crab dip, crab wonton, and the crab crackers, and they were delicious!!!
The issue was with the entrée. We got 2 four cheese pasta with chicken, and they were okay. we were expecting more of it, honestly. We also got the carbonara pasta with chicken and no peas, but it still came out with peas, we didn't send it back because it did took a while for the food to come out and I get it it was a busy Thursday night.
I got the rib eye steak medium with asparagus and mashed potatoes. When it finally came to the table, it was well done instead of medium, so I sent it back. The manager approached saying they were gonna fix it. It took a while for it to come out, and when it did... it was still overcooked. I was disappointed, not gonna lie, because I've heard amazing things about this place. I was hungry, and at this point, my whole family was done eating, so I decided to eat it that way and when I thought that nothing else could happen I tried the mashed potatoes and swallow what happens to be a bunch of salt. My mother started to give me little bumps in the back because I was low-key choking from the bunch of salt that was in the mashed potatoes. I honestly just enjoyed the asparagus.
We finally decided to give it a shot to the dessert, we got the red velvet cheesecake and even tho was great in flavor I end up chewing small pieces of paper like, that where in the frosting I didn't say anything because I felt like if it was gonna ended up messing (already more) our whole family night.
Like i said, our server Sara was amazing, but food wise, we were very disappointed, and we were expecting more of it. Ended up leaving unsatisfied and myself still hungry 😕 since I couldn't enjoy a medium rib eye
Wanna recall how Sara was really helpful and sweet to us and did her best in this situation even tho this was something she...
Read moreWe have eaten at many Cheesecake Factory restaurants over the past few years but this one is by far the worst we've ever experienced. Once we were seated, our server arrived and I ordered a drink. 20 minutes later my drink arrived but the server didn't show up for at least another 10 minutes. He strolled by like he had all the time in the world and finally took out food orders. He suddenly seemed to speed up and take off again while my partner was attempting to order a drink. Food arrived about 15 minutes later, but before that, several plates of food were brought to us that we didn't order. There seemed to be constant confusion among the staff as to what different tables had ordered. We saw the same behavior by this server to the tables either side of us. At one point he tried to carry so many orders for different tables he dropped a plate of cheesecake which stuck to another customer's jacket. Instead of apologizing the server just laughed. He left the mess on the floor for 10 minutes while other staff walked by - this is a safety hazard for staff and customers. The server never checked in with us about our food until we had almost finished. At that point, he asked my partner if he would like Parmesan for his pasta - obviously it was far too late by then. We asked for the check then waited ages to try to pay but our server was missing again. Eventually we went to the front desk and asked to pay there but were met with a very unhelpful staff member who said we had to pay the server. We explained our server never came back to take the payment. We asked for a manager and when he showed up he just pointed us towards the server who had now appeared and he took our payment. We told the server how poor the service had been tonight but, as throughout the evening, he seemed like he couldn't really care less. He should definitely not be in a customer facing role - and the manager was equally unhelpful. The only bright spot was one server who brought our food and smiled - otherwise it was a totally disappointing evening and has put us off ever returning to any Cheesecake Factory. Please don't respond with the usual 'speak to a manager at the time so we can make it right' - since we did -...
