The Whale Tea in D.C. delivers on delightful bubble tea. We tried two standouts: Cream Brulee Milk Tea with Mango Popping Boba was pure indulgence. Rich cream brulee met smooth milk tea, while vibrant mango boba burst with fruity tang. A perfectly balanced, dessert-like treat. Fresh Mango Milk Tea with Lychee Jelly offered authentic, bright mango flavor, complemented by a comforting milk tea base. The lychee jelly added a subtle floral note and satisfying chew. Lighter and fruit-forward, it's ideal for a refreshing pick-me-up. Overall, The Whale Tea provides a fantastic, creative bubble tea experience.

I personally enjoy the boba here it’s honestly a go to! I highly recommend the mango boba tea from here and the boba pearls is super good, I like how it’s not like some other places where it just feels really hard. Shoutout to the girl who has a purplish/galaxy colored hair it seems, she makes it really well when I stop by and usually who makes it for me. I finish it sometimes before I can get a photo of it but it’s a 10/10

can’t speak for the other food and drinks, since I only ordered an iced Americano. It cost close to $6. I was hoping it would be a good cup of coffee, even if it wasn’t cheap. But the moment I took a sip, I realized the beans were not fresh and tasted old. The staff also didn’t seem professional. Sorry to say, but I felt like I just lost $6. Honestly, I would have been better off getting a $1 iced Americano at McDonald’s.

When my aunt and a few friends tried The Whale Tea DC, they were blown away. The cafe is tidy and cozy with beautiful chandeliers plus plenty of drink options and sweets choices. Conveniently, they offer a kiosk where you can order and select from a variety of flavors and customize your drink. They offered a 30% discount for first time customer. We ordered iced coffee, a frappe, passionfruit with boba, and fresh milk with boba and brown sugar. The boba and macarons are the best! It was a positive experience overall. The owner, Teresa, is also incredibly...

I like the concept and the set up as well as the menu. Some constructive criticism: To be a little faster in making the drinks. It takes awhile for a cappuccino and a “slush.” Make the cappuccino correctly. I’m basically getting a cup of hot milk with a little coffee. Outdoor seating is nice, but not practical to have a table and four chairs around, but only one person sits there, discouraging others to share. Perhaps smaller two-tops are more practical and would allow more outdoor seating. I wish The Whale Tea success. It’s a nice addition to the...
