Wildays -The rooftop bar of the Eton hotel.

We went for happy hour on a Monday. It rained a bit earlier that day but the sun came out strong so we decided to give the rooftop a try. After exiting the elevator we were welcomed into a modern cozy indoor rooftop space with a stage and the bar. We grabbed two drinks and headed to the outdoor rooftop area.

The outside area is sort of like a large balcony with several large table and chair sets. A few seemed to be marked as reserved but we were reassured by another party that we could could just grab w/e was open. To our dismay the chairs were still a bit damp luckily we were able to find some dry ones. After finishing our first glass of wine we started to feel a bit peckish. After chatting with the host and server we were able to get table service outdoor to avoid walking back and forth for drinks and food.

We ordered the kalbi tacos and the chicken tacos. The kalbi tacos were amazing completely outshining the chicken tacos which weren’t all that good. The wine opened up our appetites obviously because we made another order of kalbi tacos for a total of 2 by the end of the night! Lol

As the sun started to set, the indoor comedy show was starting. We shuffled inside to watch. The acts were mildly funny. The overall experience of wildays was perfect. It’s a bit pricey but definitely...

I have no idea what happened to Wild Days - it used to one of the best bars and restaurants in DC. The food has become awful - I had an order of Calamari and it has to have been one of the worst orders I’ve ever had. It felt like the food had been microwaved - my partner had the pizza and felt the same about her food. Not only is it bad, it’s horrendously overpriced, 16 dollars for a greasy overcooked personal pizza. Our service was really really slow and we couldn’t swap the dish out because the kitchen had closed by the time a waiter came by to ask.

I should note the manager was nothing but gracious about the situation and shouldn’t be held to blame.he was very kind and tried to help, but couldn’t. The food is coming from the restaurant downstairs, instead of their own kitchen. I understand this, but should probably be communicated to guests better.

The drinks are good and the rooftop is beautiful - I hope their menu goes back to what it used to be because it’s a shame to see such a great location wither like this. I can’t recommend it until then - there’s a lot of amazing restaurants and bars in the are. Go somewhere that actually wants...

My friends and I just happened to stumble across this place after leaving the airport, but I’m afraid the staff ruined it for us. Cool ambiance and most of the staff was friendly. I’d love to return, but they charged my party for higher shelf liquor when we were drinking rail. My card got fraud alerted at the bar for the first time ever (even internationally). I ended up paying cash and still had a charge fully posted on my card after the facr(not pending). They skipped us multiple times when we arrived for an inside table so we had to sit outside by the propane in 25° weather. The bartenders tried to clear a table for us and the manger said we had to wait longer. Despite telling her that we did, in fact, check in with the hostess. At the end of the night I stood around while multiple employees clearly drunk/high out of their minds ignored me, while the same rude manager made another man a drink and told someone “she what that girl wants. she can’t get drinks” meanwhile, I am a grown woman trying to close my tab and never return because she was one of the worst industry personnel I’ve ever...

Wild Days is a nice rooftop event space located within Eaton DC hotel. The menu is based on Mexican street fair with the typical taco and small bite options. The place was beginning to fillup late yesterday evening since their was an event at the nearby Franklin Park. This venue would be perfect to rent for parties and special events due to the indoor and outdoor options. The vistas are beautiful. Although the space was nice and sevixe was great, the kichen was terribly backed up. My server Jennifer was working hsrd to tend to all of the guests by herself. Despite the growing crowd, she effortlessly worked the space returning orders as swift as possible. I just had chips, ceviche and house made guac with the signature 'Aint No Rest For the Wicked' drink. The chips and guac were ok. The ceviche lacked the proper flavor that an authentic Leche de Trigre gives blending spice, seasonings and citrus together. The drink was the best: It was flavorful and packed a punch. The deep cherry wood vanilla flavor brings the drink together well.
