my daughter went to DC on a school trip - they went to this store to get souvenir. when she approached the cash register to pay for a hat with a credit card - the lady literally threw the card back at her saying the card was declined!!! I called the credit card company Capital One and was told the credit card was never swiped at this store!! I am mentioning this credit card company because if the card is use and declined they send an email stating the place it was swiped in and the reason it was declined!! I had gone to a few souvenir shops, and this one seems to be the most competitively priced.
