Where to begin… I am honestly shocked that I appear to be the only negative review. Maybe that means that my experience is not representative of this restaurant’s service but please consider my experience for what it’s worth.
My wife and I were promptly seated upon arrival and handed menus, after reading them over for a few seconds the waiter stopped by ready to take our order. We still needed to consider the menu so we gave him our appetizer orders and asked him to give us a few minutes to consider our entire order. This is when our trouble began…
Half an hour passed before our waiter returned and he didn’t return to take our order, he arrived with one of our two appetizers— more on that later. When he arrived we told him that we were ready to order and he appeared to be surprised, whether that’s because he thought we only wanted two appetizers and nothing else or because he simply forgot, I’m really not sure, but he said ok and then disappeared again for another 5 minutes before finally returning to take our order.
Our order was fairly straight forward, two entrées and garlic naan. Well when our food arrived, our order was incorrect. I should also add at this point that the waiter also forgot to bring one of our appetizers and did not bring it until AFTER we were finished with our entrées. Now, in hindsight I should’ve spoken up and said something when my entre order was wrong but I did not.
Now for the food itself… if you regularly frequent Indian or Pakistani restaurants then you know that many of them have subpar service but amazing food. So at least if the food had been great, I honestly think I could’ve overlooked everything else. Well… this is probably the most unfortunate thing of all. I found the serving sizes to all be incredibly stingy and the food to be at best unremarkable.
Our total was $100 for two people with no alcohol purchased for those who...
Read moreThe reviews on amazing Garlic Naan led us here on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Everyone else must have stayed in because we had the restaurant to ourselves like the VIPs we are
We had our pick of seats and chose a booth at the window. Perfect for watching people!
Omar took great care of us today!
The place is beautiful, definitely a nice date night spot, meal with the girls, or a place to go to marvel and the sights around you! See photos! There was a little area with a bench perfect for your picture taking! My girls and I would have loved this for a group photo!
We knew for sure garlic Naan was to be ordered.
For apps, we tried the Lamb samosas. You get 2! They were perfectly flaky and flavorful. It came with a slaw and a mint chutney. Delicious.
We tried the Tandoori wings! Omar let us know they are the only restaurant that prepare them they way they do- they aren't fried or baked but cooked in a clay oven. These were served with a chutney and a maybe a Cucumber Tatziki type sauce. Great flavor!
For mains, we tried the butter chicken, which was creamy, a light spice kick to it. It wasn't our favorite butter chicken ever, but it was good. We also tried the chili chicken. I asked for medium spicy but didn't really get any spice at all. It was filled with a variety of peppers and onions. Topped with green onion and parsley, I believe. Maybe ask for spicy spicy if you give it a try. Both dishes served with delicious basmati rice.
The garlic Naan was buttery, Garlicky, light.
We tried a cucumber refresh drink that comes with fresh cucumber, fresh orange juice, and Cointreau. There wasn't a lot of orange juice flavor at all, but if you're a cucumber water fan, you would love this!
I would definitely come back for the Naan, wings, and samosas! And I'd try a regular...

From the moment we walked into GOAT Room, we were welcomed with warmth, grace, and hospitality that instantly made us feel at home. The service was impeccable—courteous without being overbearing, and every server we encountered knew the menu like the back of their hand, guiding us through with thoughtful recommendations and genuine passion.
And then came the food—oh, the food.
We began with the dahi papdi chaat, which was hands down one of the best I've had in years. The garnishing was exquisite, and the tamarind chutney was a nostalgic punch of flavor—just like my grandma used to make. The achari chicken and lamb seekh kebabs were showstoppers: beautifully marinated, juicy, and packed with layered spices that lingered perfectly on the palate.
The salmon kebabs and tandoori shrimp were cooked to absolute perfection—charred edges, smoky flavor, and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness that rivals any top-tier restaurant in London.
To my surprise (and delight), my kids couldn’t get enough of the palak paneer and butter chicken—a rare feat for picky little eaters. The naans were divine—a perfect balance of crispy edges and pillowy softness. And don’t even get me started on the goat curry and channa masala. The masalas were fresh, nuanced, and comforting—each bite felt like a warm hug from home.
Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, dessert arrived. A homemade kulfi that married the richness of rasmalai with the creaminess of ice cream—it was genius. And the falooda? A time machine straight to Punjab.
GOAT Room isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience. The food is rooted in tradition, executed with finesse, and plated with heart. If you’re craving authenticity, comfort, and culinary excellence—you need to get here. I can’t recommend...
