When I placed my order the Smashburger website said it would be ready in 40-55 mins. I waited and showed up at 45 mins. I was handed a very cold bag. I asked the girl how long this food has been ready. She stated 20-30 mins. I said that wasn't acceptable and asked that my order be remade. She tried very hard to find my ticket and she got her manager attention behind the cook line. He was very irritated at the whole situation which I found to be very unprofessional. I saw that my request was too much trouble and told her it was fine to please just refund my money. The manager then let out a very loud gruff and stormed out to me where he asked How he could help me like I didn't just witness that whole exchange. I explained again and asked for a refund. He stormed to the back and came back empty handed and tells me I'm good to go. I stated I needed a receipt showing the refund. He quickly prints my original receipt from my online order. I laughed and stated, no I need a receipt showing you actually process my return. He stated that was not possible. I asked for the phone number to corporate and he stated there wasn't one. I asked for the name of his manager to which he told me he didn't have one. I then asked if he owned all of Smashburger. He said no and I asked for his name and he said NOPE and stormed away. He then called me about 2 hours later pretending to have received my complaint and apologizing for the behavior of the manager at that location as If he wasn't talking about himself.... his name is on my receipt that he printed and that was the name he gave me when he called. His name is Yaroslav. Not only was I given unsafe food to eat but I was treated with such disgusting unprofessionalism. I am too in the customer service industry, high end customer service and I have NEVER been treated this way nor seen anyone treated this way. My food was not even under a heat lamp nor was I at all notified it was ready far earlier beyond the websites estimate. This is completely unacceptable. I'm hoping that my experience is not the standard but to be treated that way by the manager...

Saw this place opened yesterday and was excited to try it out. It is loud, their music is very loud, which I don't like but wasn't a factor in my review. My poor rating is for quality of their food. The shake was great and I'm sure the malt will be too, but their fries and burgers were nothing special at all. I got a crispy chicken burger, and the patty itself was smaller than what I use to get for school lunches. It was very greasy, and the breading wasn't that great. I got chipotle sauce on my burger and for most of it I didn't taste it at all. Until I got to the middle of the burger, than I got a whole mouthful. Their smashfries were also the same way. Some of the fries tasted like normal fries, some had a little bit of flavor, then some would smack you in the face with how much flavor was on them. I hate to say it. but I would almost prefer McDonalds to this place. You also don't get a lot of food. I ate there just 20 minutes ago, and I am still pretty hungry. Overall, 3 burgers, 2 regualr fries(which are just normal fries with nothing special at all about them, would think they would have some house fries or something) 1 smashfries, 1 order of chicken tenders, 2 shakes, cost me 54 bucks. Really want to remind you too, that the amount of food you get is really small.

Was in Wasilla for the day and needed a GF meal for my daughter who’s allergic. The lady who took our order was new maybe and she kindly asked the girl packing orders if the fries and tator tots are gf. The girl shrugged her shoulders rolled her eyes and just said “I don’t know. Probably”. I said it’s for a food allergy. It’s life or death. Can you ask and make sure? The kitchen was right there in front of her! She didn’t seem to care much at all. I wanted to leave. Especially since the dining room looked unsanitary due to lack of employees. I was kind to the cashier and I was absolutely not trying to be difficult at all. Celiacs disease is a very serious thing and it’s so hard to find good places. The gf buns were cold on the burger which made the burger cold. Our salad was filled with goopy slimy lettuce. My mom asked for a new salad and the manager said that the salad is supposed to be that way … smh. He replaced it w a fresh one. Sat down at a dirty table and ate our food and left. Had no other gf options so we dealt w it. So disappointed and I’ll definitely not be risking it again.
