I have tried to give them a chance multiple times. First time I asked for a ham and swiss, mayo let and tomatoe. Without saying anything or asking they pressed it and it came out hot. I didn't ask for a hot ham and Swiss but I let it go and they made me another one. So I figured I'll give them another shot. Second attempt i specifically asked for my ham and swiss to be cold and once again it came out hot. A few more attempts later and getting my sandwich wrong I figired I would give them one more try. I asked for a sausage egg and cheese on a toasted roll with spicy mustard. I took it home and the bread wasn't toasted but rather grilled or pressed and was soft and tasted like it had butter on it Niether here nor.there it def wasnt toasted. I figured I can deal with it I was really hungry. As I started to eat I tasted a flavor I didn't like and it clashed with my sauce I use, valantine. I opened the sandwich and it had some sort of red sauce on it that I didn't ask for. At this point I was frustrated and drove back. When I approached the lady at the counter who took my order to show her it wasn't toasted but rather it was grilled. She said we put it in the press thats how we toast it. I replied that there is a huge difference between toasted and grilled or pressed. She continued to tell me it was toasted and after nearly 40 years of being in the culinary industry all I could say was. You wouldn't make a grilled cheese sandwich in a toaster and if.ypundo.not.have a toaster tell the customer.. Moving on I asked her what is this sauce on here that I didnt ask for and I showed her. She replied, " I don't know". Why would they add a sauce i didnt ask for ? Maybe its what the cook likes and he makes your sandwhich the way he would want it rather then the way you asked for it idk. That being said if they can't get a SEC sandwich right I'm not inclined to try their more expensive menu items and in fact that was the last chance I give them. Please can someone explain to them the difference between grilled and toasted ? They clearly don't seem to know. I think most know what bread is like toasted, compared to grilled. The world has...
Read moreGood food breakfast, would like to try out more stuff on their menu. First impression was good, very friendly staff. Food presentation was ok, ordered a sandwich.. in my personal opinion the sandwich needed to be cut in half which was not done by the kitchen staff, it would have been a little easier to handle and eat due to the massive amount of eggs and ham in it which is not a bad thing at all, that was a lot of food for the price. I would come back for sure, it is good to be able to find a good restaurant close to home. Great job...
