Great place to eat with an affordable price point. The staff is very friendly, patient and helpful with explaining the various dishes. Their empanadillas, especially beef and cheese, are absolutely delicious with an airy, crisp crust and flavorful fillings. I haven’t found any with as good a taste the ones found here. Her bistec encebollado (steak and onions) is delectable with a flavorful, tender steak that you can eat with a spoon. Their seafood salad is worth a drive with plenty of seafood in it unlike many other places that are primarily tomatoes and onions with just a little bit of seafood. Amongst my favorite dishes are the Kingfish and the above mentioned bistec as well as their Monday Special -chicken wings- which I get as often as I can. Their menu is manageable with popular Spanish dishes found throughout at a very good price point. If you know your dishes I’m sure you‘ll soon find a favorite one and if you don’t know then you can ask Brenda herself or one of her friendly staff to help you in choosing something to suit your taste. Overall great experience here, keep up the great work...
Read moreI once had a coworker give me some delicious empanadas from this place so I had to try the other food. I spent 14 dollars on a small order of boneless chicken with white rice and beans , sweet plantains and an empanada. I was starving so I sped over to my job , ready to devour some good ole Spanish food!! But boy was I disappointed. My chicken chunks had no flavor and was tough to chew! It seemed as if the chicken was fried and then cooked again in an air fryer. It was so black , it looked like it was Cajun chicken . But nope. It was just over cooked. My “ white “ rice was yellow and over cooked. And the beans was just one pigeon pea mixed in the rice. Totally not what I was expecting for “ white rice with beans”. And the plantains weren’t drained of the oil. It seemed like it went straight from the pan into the container . If they weren’t so oily, I truly would’ve enjoyed them. They only thing I enjoyed was the empanada . Hopefully my next experience with this business will be better and everything I order will...

Hmmm... the beans are just poured out of a can and heated. No olives no cilantro no bay leaf no pumpkin chunks... the gravy is not appetizing the beans need to cook a bit😫... just seems like its seasoned with just tomatoe sauce and done... not even sofrito... 🙁
I had a few other items-Blah... I came here years ago and it was delicious... I've noticed among a lot of restaurants... once a customer ratio is established the effort goes out the window. There is no way that yall dont notice how bland these beans are... I think more herbs more effort would make this worth you money.
Food is expensive as it is and folks are looking for that traditional goodness that Puerto Rico is known for. Maybe a little more effort and honestly among each other when cooking would/could enhance the taste of these particular foods for the better.
Just some constructive critique......
