It is hard to understand why so many stars for this place. We stopped off on our way through because of ratings for a taco take out. We are giving it two because the tortillas for tacos seemed fresh and home made and the chicken in tacos was fresh. However: there was no seasoning in the chicken; the overpowering flavor was bland chicken (?boiled) and cilantro (I do like cilantro but just cilantro and bland chicken in taco not what we expected). The salsa was spicy which gave the only taste aside from cilantro to the tacos. It was just sad; a good choice of some seasonings would have made all the difference. While we were there to get take out, the only customers dining in (a small family) politely tried to get the attention of the woman who handed us our food; she turned her back and disregarded them. ...

Listen up people, I'm a life long Waterbury resident, 60 years, and I love the various cultures that we have because the variety of great food we have access to is amazing! Check it out: Italian, Albanian, Portuguese, Mexican, Puerto Rican, Lebanese, Asian, Polish, European, etc. If you love food of all kinds - Waterbury has it. Sometimes you have to look beyond the typical run of the mill - aka Chili's, McD's, Subway, Domino's, Taco Bell, - all bullsh*t. We have authentic cultural foods here and this is the best Mexican food I've ever had anywhere!! So...
