Lord knows I am not a Karen and I understand chaos and the anxiety of fast paced work environments.. however, if I am feeding my family and I'm a residual customer with a family of 8... we should be treated as a significant source of service. Don't get me wrong... I have eaten in the resturant many times and food/service was descent. (Nothing to bring home to mama...but good) Takeout is atrocious.... Let's take today for example. Triple dipper. (Sliders, wings, eggrolls) Shrimp cajan pasta Santa fe chicken salad with (EXTRA AVACADO) Children pizza and fries Children's chicken tenders and fries Total order was $69.20
The guy brings my food and aggressively releases it on the table. I jokingly said.. man the dressing must have broken open. His response was (nahhh...it's on there tight.. with a - leave me the he'll alone look- )
I already went to the restaurant with the notion that I wanted to make sure.. 1.) I had the extra avocado that I paid for..(normally with take out its never included) 2.) The triple dipper had sauce (we ran into an issue where we came home to no sauce) 3.) The pasta had the shrimp we paid for and not chicken..(like precious mistakes in the past)
So... I walked outside the pick up door and checked my order.. again for sh*ts and giggles..
On top was the chicken and shrimp pasta and man it looked good. But no garlic bread...OK no problem... we can do without.. Triple dipper... EVERY SINGLE dip sauce was broken open... i lifted the container up and the bottom was completely white with ..Bleu cheese, ranch, and avacado ranch... GROSSS... the boneless wings were the size of quarters dry and stiff. The sauce was drizzled over them and the eggs rolls weren't even cut... I check the salad and there was a filet of chicken sitting on top of a bed of romaine lettuce.. no toppings... no dressing on the side... NO AVACADO.... just a filet of (not chopped chicken) on top of leaves.... The chicken tenders and fries kids meal... contained ONE chicken tender...and Mexican rice... I didn't even check the pizza... I went inside and put the food back on the table. Went in the restaurant and asked for the manager.. requested a refund. I was greeted by a familiar face..who knows I'm not a negative nancy... the manager came over and stated that if I already paid I'd have to wait 3-4 days for a refund. She didn't take my information on a computer yet a peice of receipt tape. Name Last 4 of card Order amount.
It's only been 20 minutes since I left so I don't know if I'll recieve my refund but I'm out 70$ and my family is starving.
NEVER AGAIN will this establishment get my money... neither should you dump yours.
WATERBURY....you failed me...
Read moreI ordered a full rack of honey chipotle ribs which comes with 2 sides. I chose French fries & loaded mash. My loaded mash were missing. I live 30 minutes away from the nearest chili’s so I was not going to drive back to pick up my mashed potatoes. Not too happy about that but it’s what happened prior that upset me the most.
The other issue I had was with the customer service I received. I walked in through the front of the restaurant where I stood for 5 minutes while I peeked around the corner & noticed the “to-go” section was on the opposite side. (Mind you, as I stood in the wrong section no one acknowledged me at all). When the front entrance of the restaurant doesn’t have anyone present to seat or greet their customers & people are just staring at me without coming up to me, that’s a problem. Granted I stood in the wrong place (This is my 1st to-go order ever) but even if I were dining in not a single employee acknowledged my existence & I made eye contact with quite a few, so obviously people noticed but didn’t seem to care.
Once I peeked around the corner, I walked to the “to-go” section there was no one there either, so I wandered in front of the side booth they have right outside the kitchen where this VERY rude employee caught an attitude when I didn’t hear her state that “to-go” orders were being filled at the bar, the first time (mind you, she also didn’t greet me so I had no clue who the hell she was talking to when she first addressed me).
This was the first employee interaction I had since I walked through the door and it was extremely upsetting. Giving your customer an attitude for having to repeat yourself after you haven’t even acknowledged their presence is definitely more than uncalled for. A simple “Hi, if you’re looking to pick up the takeout order please head to the bar”, would’ve sufficed. I’m not asking for the impossible here. But I was already unimpressed with how disorganized things were & that really ticked me off because this girl decides to give me an attitude for whatever reason & that’s the FIRST interaction with an employee I receive.
Once I did reach the bar, the gentleman who assisted me was very pleasant. My receipt says his name is “Luis”. I paid for my order and left.
The “to-go” section is unorganized. You should have employees readily available to greet the customers as they walk in through the door like any other restaurant. Some of the employees here need to seriously learn manners & if they can’t control their feelings, they shouldn’t be working customer service jobs to begin with.

Read moreI love chilies, but this Has to be the worst experience I’ve ever had in one. Automatically when I walked in, hostess was completely lost did not know where to see anybody and took about six minutes of her, staring at us to figure out where she wanted us to go. As we sat down this woman, I don’t know if she was a server or what she was doing. She was just walking around back-and-forth and was just staring at us and came to our table and just said OK I’ll be back. We waited 15 minutes for someone to Ask us what we wanted to drink. Then she quoted to say I’m not your I’ll I guess I’ll get you something. Then proceeded to rudely go and get our drink drinks. We waited another 15 minutes for our server to come to the table and he was completely Did not know anything about The menu kept saying he was out of items that we wanted. We finally placed our order. We didn’t get our Appetizers for another 30 minutes. In which he checked in with us three times to We were OK and if everything looked good, how could something look good if we haven’t even gotten our food yet all we have is two waters in Front of us. He did not bring our our food at all this lovely woman brought out our appetizers and our food in which honestly she was the most professional person there super sweet. I wish I Could’ve gave her a tip because she was. Our server did not ask us at all if we want to refills at any time Waited till the end to ask for a ref refill, which is ridiculous. He Didn’t offer to clean any place for our table nor offer I need to go boxes or anything Got the check and gave it to us without us asking for the check As I was still feeding my baby. Then, when he got our change, he proceeded to give me a certain amount back and then held a five dollar bill in his hand Was going to take it without asking if I was going to tip him. Then proceeded to give me back the money and I left with my husband and my daughter. Two other tables around us Him as well. Restaurant was not even busy. We should’ve not waited that long for any service. Definitely will not be back. I love chili, but this was not a good experience. There is no communication as a team between the hostess the servers the runners the cooks there’s no communication at all. Food was also cold which is ironic considering the amount of...
