The Green Deli & Convenience — Restaurant in Waterbury

I came into this place at 7:20 PM ! I let a young gentleman go in front of me and I was proceeding to order from the deli where the Older Indian man was making two sandwiches. I was told by the Indian lady at the counter refused me and said the deli was closed when they were very clearly making sandwiches . They told me they need to close the deli early so they can get home early . That has nothing to do with me . But what’s unacceptable and unprofessional is telling me your deli is closed when you are still making two sandwiches and the menu clearly states the store closes at 8. If the deli closes at 7:30 then that needs to be addressed on the menu as well. Don’t send customers home because you’re being lazy and don’t want to stay after to clean up . Really disappointed I ordered fries and a cheese burger for my 3 year old and the fries were really burnt. How did they not notice this? I called and tried to explain how burnt the fries were and I was told they were not burnt. I asked to send a picture of the fries and the lady seem to get upset as if I was lying. I told her I will come back tomorrow for a refund she offered me fries instead asked me if I had my receipt and I told her I would find it. No accountability at all for the way this food was presented. If I had opened the food before I left to catch the bus I would have known.
