Wendy's — Restaurant in Waterbury

I would love to give this location 5 stars but after today I can’t do it anymore with this location I was told by a gentleman at the drive thru window that the lady that took my order messed up. This individual handed me three drinks I told him that I didn’t order three only had two, and told me to just take it. After I get home and saw the my order was messed up I called the store twice and they picked up the phone after the second call. I told the manager what happened and she interrupted my and assumed that I wasn’t charged for a baconator fry. I had to stop her and explain that wasn’t right that I have my receipt in hand and I was charged separately and that I want that and a regular fry. In return I got an attitude and she hung up the phone. I went inside the store told the gentleman that handed me the food that he messed up and also told him to read the way the order comes out and he than gave me a bit of an attitude and said that’s what I ordered.I gave him my receipt and told him to read my receipt it hand everything the way I ordered it with the baconator fries separate. I wouldn’t have made a big deal about this if I didn’t get an attitude from both the manager and the gentleman handling the drive thru window, but I felt like neither one of them took anytime to really listen to me or I wouldn’t of returned the attitude. I took for the woman who took my order who clearly understood me and helped me right away. I work in customer service and I know that in order for you to have a clear understanding you have to listen to what the client is saying not come up with your own story to what you may think the client is trying to say, and if they don’t know that then maybe this location should think about retraining for proper...

Might seem odd to be rating a fast food location, but for last two years, I’ve been to this location dozens of times, always for the same thing!! Yes, it is possible to eat healthy at a fast food restaurant. I order “Four Large Patties with One piece of Cheese!” At first, some workers aren’t sure how to ring it up on the register, but now most of them know as soon as they see me walk in. It’s $5.84 and the beef is fresh! No ketchup, just a little salt and a large cup of water. That’s about one pound of beef. Great source of protein. (Update: Oct 2023 — Several months ago, price increased from $1.29 to $1.50/patty, but within the last few days it’s now increased to $2.00/patty, so no longer as great. Ok. First the bathroom was very clean. The gentelman cashier was very patient with me and helpful to others . I ordered the new avocado bacon burger meal for the first time. Surprisingly it was very neat presentation and actually very good and filling. Fries were hot and I had a side of nuggets they were hot. Although the jr.bacon I ordered was cold. I brought it to their attention the female changed her gloves and made me a new one immediately. They had 4 large comfy chairs like couches very comfy. Also they have the soda machine with hundreds of flavors very cool. One thing I did NOT appreciate though was most of the staff was female with long hair and no one had on hair nets ! Major let down.
