Tubby's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Waterford Township

Worst tubbys ever if you want gross cross contaminated food then this is the place to go i watched all three employees there just now making 4 different subs all of them grabbing different meats and condiments without changing gloves handling cash and running the register without changing gloves and that wasnt even my food the subs i ordered i asked for grilled hense grilled submarines right... they were sloply put together and not grilled at all so i called to have my order corrected the lady jamie says well you can come back and get some grilled buns seriously? I paid for service all i got was attitude from all employees who cant follow simple directions i took their crap back for a refund and they tried to argue with me that the Turkey sub was grilled until i tossed the bag at them and said show me where its grilled because nothing in that bag is grilled she just rolled her eyes and turned around ill never go to these this store again they have no idea what customer service is and i have serious health concerns about how they handle...

I usually eat at this location at least once every two weeks for the past several years and I'm usually quite satisfied however I don't think I'll be going back. today I went and bought a 12 inch steak sub and Mac and cheese bites. First mac and cheese bite I ate had a huge hair attached to it and I had to physically pull this several inch long piece of hair out of the bite I was eating. Then I decide to open up the sub and check and it's full of these hairs (I pulled out about 5 before I threw it away). Extremely patient with these guys and always supporting them but I am extremely dissatisfied and disgusted. I called them and was going to address this issue personally but I wasn't in the mood to wait on hold after waiting so long for my food in the first place. Don't even bother. Seems to me after reading other Google reviews they seem to have a problem with hair in their subs...

My food was excellent and I received really good service! Thank you.. I hate to complain, but I really would like to see the place a lot cleaner. Coming in the sub shop was cigarette buds on the ground in front of the door going in. Next the door going in and the windows are extremely dirty. The floors were dirty, The trash can by the door is dirty. I did not check the restroom and I'm hoping it was clean. There is always time to clean. After I left I sat in the parking lot eating my sub and I was watching in side the employees standing around talking on their cell phones. There is time to clean. This is a food environment and us customers want to eat a clean place. Again the food was great and the service was great. Maybe you could raise your standards on...
